Brief Review on Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College (Autonomous)

The Course Curriculum at Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College is generally considered relevant and comprehensive, particularly for those pursuing careers in Account, Finance and Banking industry. Industry-ready skills emphasise developing programming, cybersecurity and computer literacy, making students industry-ready.

Kiran motors is a dealership located in Ghatkopar west which deals in Maruti Suzuki new car was visted at out campus for recruit some students to provide internship for sales role withing ad outside the dealership location and was offered stipened of 12000 per month. During the intership, 1 month in hand training was given after that we was asked to sale the car whether by calling the custome or visiting their place.

Talking about campus placement, overall rating is Excellent. Some IT companies like TATA Consulatancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Sutherland, Eclerx. and banking companies includes ICICI AMC, ICICI Bank Pvt. Ltd., TATA AMC, used to visit college campus to conduct assessment round in college itself. Highest package was around 5 lakh per anum and average package was around 3 lakh per anum. I even got placed in TCS with 4.4 Lakh annual salary. Almost 70% of bachmates was placed with more than average package and there were good opportunity for science background also. After getting degree i worked for 1.5 years and now i'm going to persue my career in management roles.

1.Bachelor of Commerce (BBI) fees: The total tuition fee was arounf 21000 per year. Breakdown of Fees: Tuition fee: 16000/- per year Library fee: 1000/- per year Development fee: 500/- per year Examination fee: 1500/- per year and some other miscelleneous charges which includes ID card, caution deposits, etc. 2. Some of our batchmates belong to backward class even get category benefit in fees which need to pay around 3000 - 4000 per year. 3.There was n scholarship and any financial aids was given at that time.

Overall life with Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala college campus was average in term of festivals, eventsm and social aspects. Because limited number of events used to happen every year with department wise. I was in BBI department so we used to form a committee and organize FEST called - "DISHA" in the last month of November every academic year. As i remember accounting and finance department used to organise the FEST called - "KSHITIJ" on different theme. There are wide range and variety of 80000 books and journals available in the library. Access for the same are avilable to every students who produce the library card and make an entry while entering in the library. Facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are available only related to study which includes advance powered Projectors and digital board. Different options available for extracurricular activity in which students can enroll online by visiting to online available link in their respective whatsapp group.

Talking about admission criteria of RJ college are based on merit scores of the last qualifying examination. Specific eligibility criteria vary by course but for mine its was minimum 45% in qualifying HSC examination and cutoff for the same at the time of my admission was 85 percent for hindi minority students and slightly more that non minority and open category students and very less score required for category students. Overall Admission process at RJ College is online which requires candidate to register and apply through website.

Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala college has a strong faculty with good reputation for mentoring students, particularly in Commerce stream. Almost every faculty politely hear from every students and even as per my past experience they are approacheable beacause i went after sometimes post to my final year examination to make bonafide certificate for placement purpose and i ment my accounting teacher and requested to make it faster, she approached to authoritie to get it done withing some times. 3. There are varous good faculties but one of those goods are Prof. Deviprasad Sheety (TPO). He always used to help each and every students to get placed and he always think regarding develpment of every students whether personally and professionaly. 4. Since the Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala college is autonomous and conduct the exam by its own method, marking scheme are derived below: External Marks: 60 marks Internal Marks: 40 marks with 20 marks conducted twice per semester which makes 40 marks per year. The above derived marks makes students easy to clear the Exam.

Since the college is located just behind the Ghatkopar railway station so there is not something special near to the college campus but yes we can explore various famous places to enjoy like R City mall, Bhau vada Pav, Ghatkopar Metro Railway station, shreyas cinemas. My last hangout place outside the college gate was mc donald.
