Good ambiance : the clg provides a good ambience and gives a more positive vybe outside than inside the building
Good infrastructure, colle has good infrastructure which cant be explained unless u see it
Events : the events conducted are really good and gives u a good vybe

Less number of events in a year: comparitively only 4 events happens in a yr on college

Course Curriculum Overview

The curiculum is little oudated though it has removed the old technologies and may be in future they add the new things going on in the curiculum. Thereby we cant say they prepare you for a real wrld approach

Placement Experience

From semester 6 students become eligible for placements. There are many companies like ashok leyland, tech mahindra, etc.. Last time we had like 100% placement in our department. Though the package amount was like 12-15 k per month at strtimg they got placed in a core company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees paid for my cousre mechanical engineering is 75k. It doesn't includes caution fees which is 10k. Tge 75k includes of tution fees, admision etcc. The extra amount of approx. 10k for library, lab etc. For reservation categories the fees amount 75 k is credited to their bank acc and they can pay afterwards recieving it. There isn't a big difference in the fees amount for management and merit seats.

Campus Life

There is mainly ome event that occurs every year which is atechnical fest named nsite which is an technical event that is national level and bloom is cultural event that occured once in 2 years but now happening continously for 2 years which was an extravangabza where we all enjoyed and also other events are conducted by management course students. Every sub book is available in library along with journals and stories.

Admission

The college had good ambience, and se of my friends were already here so i decided to join and was also near to my home. There was a thing during allotment that if u join ur application list would be reset i didnt knew about it so i couldnt go to any govt college U should have either diploma or cmplted +2 for joining this course. Lab exams are most prefferd by students

Faculty

Some really teach you stuff, while abt 1-2% teach u just for letting uyou pass or for sake but the rest give best to teach, they also always help you to clear your doubts about 60-70% of students clears the exam. The course curriculum is little oudated for sure as the curriculum doesnt have advanced techological things. Exam are kind of hard but clearable for who can study

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

My college review

The admission process was a bit harder because we have to attend keam entrance exam and we have to qualify in that exam to get an allotment in various colleges. There are more than 50000 engineering seats available in Kerala. If we qualify keam with better marks that is it contains two papers-1st paper physics and chemistry and 2nd paper mathematics both are out of 480 marks total of 960 marks. If we pass the entrance exam with more than 700 marks then we are eligible to get a set in government colleges otherwise we will get seats in self-financing colleges. I have rank 31314 and my keam score was 149 so the competition was high so I have to secure my seat in self-financing college. Every year they conduct the entrance exam. In that exam, each question will be of 4 marks and for each incorrect answer, they deduce 1 mark. If we qualify keam the government provides a grand scholarship for the students that is 4000 rupees.
