Our college provides good infrastructure and best basketball courts
Wi-Fi is available. There are 4 labs with 30 to 40 computers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electronics & Communication Engineering because of interest in technology, communication systems, and electronic devices. Student faculty ratio is 1:10 Staffs are very good in teaching and friendly with students They conduct exam in every two months

Placement Experience

Nehru college provides good placement opportunities. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys etc. The salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 7 LPA.The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Leading Edge and Ultramain are top recruiters here.The median package for UG and PG courses stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 3.6 LPA, respectively. More than 40% of students got placed in the previous years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for The Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre for B. Arch. is INR 1,41,000 annually, and M.C.A. is INR 80,000 yearly. It is a suitable scholarship for BTech students belonging to the OBC category and selects only 500 candidates from the long list of applicants. I got an associate job from HCL with 4.5L per annum.

They conduct annual event called 'BLOOM' in the month of mid February. NSITE is a national level tech fest conducted The Institution has well established Library with 50 seating capacity. It has 5176 books in various subjects. It includes 15 Journals and 4 magazines in the field of Education. They don't give much importance in sports.

Admission

As per AKTU norms, a candidate must have clearly passed 10+2 subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) securing minimum 45% marks The student has to download the application form from the website of the college (www.nehrucolleges.com) and submit the application form after filling the details along with necessary certificate to the office before the due dates.

My plan after getting B.tech to place in a good company which have foreign head office.From sixth semester they start for placement training program.they are offering royal enfield, eicher, yamaha, bosch training certificate from there own laboratory equipments.Companies like mahindr ,eicher ,luxon tata... are recruting from college level placement.most of the students got placed from college.The Highest package salary were 5LPA.

Placement Experience:

My college has established a strong reputation for its campus placement performance and I can't know more about the placement details because I'm a first year student but the students become eligible to part5in the campus placement from the starting of seventh semester . I have heard that a lot of companies like around 50 visits our college to select our students . Many noticable companies like Infosys , Microsoft , Target , Amazon etc visits our college and recruit our talents . Our highest package till date is 17 lakhs per annum and an average package is 4 lakhs per anum . Around 90% of students get placed every year . And after college I would like to continue my studies and also would workhard to get placed in a company and prepare for competitive exams and more .

Syllabus was well structured and job oriented. Today is the era of Artifical intelligence and based on that the syllabus is maintained. We have machine learning ,data mining , and big data analysis . My college review

The admission process was a bit harder because we have to attend keam entrance exam and we have to qualify in that exam to get an allotment in various colleges. There are more than 50000 engineering seats available in Kerala. If we qualify keam with better marks that is it contains two papers-1st paper physics and chemistry and 2nd paper mathematics both are out of 480 marks total of 960 marks. If we pass the entrance exam with more than 700 marks then we are eligible to get a set in government colleges otherwise we will get seats in self-financing colleges. I have rank 31314 and my keam score was 149 so the competition was high so I have to secure my seat in self-financing college. Every year they conduct the entrance exam. In that exam, each question will be of 4 marks and for each incorrect answer, they deduce 1 mark. If we qualify keam the government provides a grand scholarship for the students that is 4000 rupees.
