Research Opportunities: The university encourages research and innovation, with various projects funded by government and industry bodies.
Clubs and Societies: NSUT offers a vibrant campus life with numerous clubs and societies, including technical, cultural, and sports activities.
Entrance Exams: Admission to undergraduate programs is primarily through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, while postgraduate admissions may involve GATE or other relevant exams.

Dislikes

I don't like few teachers there they sucks.
The labs are good but there is a thing that you have to do all things by yourself
Its too far from my house so I have to travel 1hr.

Course Curriculum Overview

Perfect. We are taught basic engineering sciences in the first semester but core subjects start from the 2nd semester in the first year itself (updated curriculum). For example, in 1st year itself, CS students are taught core topics like digital logic design (ECE), discrete structures (Math) and data structures (CS). Similarly, every branch core topics start from 2nd semester in the 1st year. Although, the electives offered aren’t very amusing

Overall, NSUT is considered a good choice for students interested in pursuing engineering and technology in India, with a focus on both academic excellence and holistic development. It gives you all the experience.

Campus Life

The campus has improved A LOT just within a few years owing to the increased funding by Delhi govt. You’d be surprised after you compare the photos of the campus of NSUT and NSIT. Overall, the campus although a little small (150 acres) compared to the IITs is still pretty good. Plenty of space is still unutilized though. Also, there are a lot of peacocks here :)

Admission

I was getting Electrical engineering of Delhi technological University so I chose electronics and communication engineering of Netaji Subhash University of technology... because it has better placement opportunities

Good Tier 2 College

Placement Experience:

Placement of this College is good for survival either you are placed or not placed you get to know about what industry demands it is Tier 2 college so Companies Reach but Most Recruiter are starting Up . Company that Comes regularly are Tcs Ion Zs Musigma Cognizant. Student get placed around 70%. Few Students Start there Startup also Go for Higher Studies.My plan Is to Get a placement and Then Further upskill my self with Mtech.

Placement Experience:

Te placement percentage is about 80% for CSE/IT students and 60% for ECE students and 40% for EEE students. After 6th sem students become eligible for on campus placments . Their are many companies who visits MSIT i.e TCS,wipro zs etc For technical jobs

NSUT through the eye of a student

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. All the major companies come for recruitment like FAANG. Highest package is around 1.8 cpa and average is around 17lpa . Around 85-90% studnets are placed . My place is same to get a good placement offer after getting the degree

Placemnet are not upto that mark . Only service based company arrives at MAIT . sometimes a few product based comany arrives but takes only 5-6 students . Almost most of the sutdnets are placed outside the campus and about 70-80% are placed each year

Placement Experience:

student become eigiible for placement in pre final year or in sixth semesters . Name of top companies visited in campus are google , microsoft , amazon, zomato, infosys. over 85 % student get selected in companies that visited campus. highest package offered is around 85 lpa with an average package of 20 lpa . around 85% student get placed in dtu on campus placement. i want to becom an software developer after my graduation is done.

dtu through a student's lens

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curicullum at dtu as relevant and fairly compehensive . The course srtructure includes core subjects .The course alse includes labs , seminars and project work , which helps in understanding practical applications, although the industry exposure is limited. Most real world skills are gained through internship online courses , and self learning.

Rigorous Academics, Vibrant Campus Life and Promising Placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement at NIT Delhi are good for CSE department. Students are eligible from 7th semester for their placement. Companies like Amazone, Oracle, Goldman sachs visit. Highest placement in 2025 was 58LPA , average package was 17LPA . And around 100% students get placed . I plan to start a business after completing my graduation..

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all.
