Remarks
It is a good place for students who really want to study and are ready to put in self efforts. The faculty will always teach you to the best of their ability but not all teachers are the best. Also the nature surrounding the campus is quite awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
The university has been affiliated under UGC and AICTE. So they strictly follow the curriculum that has been issued by the higher authorities. The Course structure is regularly revised as per industry's demands. You have two main exams each semester and two quizes respectively. Class tests are also held.
Placement Experience
Placements are the first thing any parent or aspirant checks out in a college. DIT provides quite nice placements to almost every student. If you are above average you surely will get placed. No, the college doesn't provide internships directly but you might ask them for it and get help.
College Events
The college celebrates almost every event. First we have our Fresher's Party in starting of September. Then comes a Teacher's Day party. Then the college's fest or Youthopia in Nov-Dec. Then you have a sports fest or Sphurti in Feb-March. Also any festivals like Basant Panchami, Lohri, Diwali and any other are also given importance.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is moderate, neither to expensive nor just feasible. Doing BTech at an average of 2.5lpa wont be considered feasible but there is always an option of opting for a student's loan. The cost isn't too expensive as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships for students who come first second third overall in their branch and also a special girls scholarship to the one who stood first amongst the girls in her branch. Some scholarships are also based on UK state quota or even on your JEE or 12th marks.
Campus Life
Labs are well maintained and you can learn a lot there. If you take part in sports or cultural events you obviously grow else you don't even know about it. You wouldn't even come to know about any event until the last day when the banners are up.
Alumni/Alumna
If you live in a hostel then you are at a benefit. You get to know your seniors who are no aliens. Yes, then they do help alot. But being a dayscholar and not good at making friends that easily puts you at a loss.
Admission
I first filled up an online enquiry form worth 1200rs at that time. Then, I went for the Counselling session at Noida. There you fill up another form you passport sized photo and a DD of security amount is submitted. Then a merit list is put up and you go accordingly to select your field.
Faculty
The senior faculties are all very kind and loving. They are knowledgeable and teach very well. Staff members who have been there for quite some time also teach properly and are easily understandable. But when it comes to new recruits you probably are at a loss cause there is a very few chance that they would teach well.
