Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are quite good and u can get internship if u have good CGPA And skills. Usually stipend is 40 thousand per month to 1.50 lakh per month. Companies are like Google, Microsoft, Citibank, Accenture, Cisco, Zscaler, Etc.
Placement Experience
For internships, they are offered at the end of the 2nd year, and for placements, students can sit for interviews starting at the end of the 3rd year. Major companies like Google, Microsoft, Zscaler, Schrodinger, Accenture, Expedia, and many others visit for campus recruitment. The highest package offered has been 2 crores, while the lowest is around 4-5 lakhs per annum. The current placement rate in the IT branch is about 85-90%. After completing my degree, I plan to start working as placements are usually secured by then.
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fee structure is as follows: ?50k per semester for general category students and ?25k for SC, ST, and students with family income less than ?1 lakh. For students with family income between ?1-5 lakh, the fee is slightly higher, and for those above ?5 lakh, it is different. Scholarships are available through the NSP site, and our college alumni club also provides scholarships.
Campus Life
Overall, the experience is quite good. The people here are great, as they have cleared a challenging exam like JEE, so you’ll find a good crowd. We have a tech fest called Techniti, a regional fest Utkansh, and Bharat Dhwani is another notable event. The library is well-stocked with books and journals. Classrooms are well-equipped with technology, including projectors, blackboards, and more. There are also various clubs for sports, swimming, dance, singing, theatre, and many other activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite average, with basic amenities like tables, chairs, and proper rooms. One issue is the meal quality—while they use good ingredients to prepare the food, it still has the typical "hostel food" feel. The registration process is easy and can be done through the website. The menu is changed every month. If you prefer, you can opt for nearby PG accommodations in areas like Lidhran or Bidhipur.
Admission
It is a government college so I did JEE Main Exam and then applied for JOSAA counselling. After JOSAA counselling I got the college. Although I wanted CS branch but destiny. IT branch id also just like CS. The subjects are almost same.
Faculty
.The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:120, and for labs, it is 1:30 for better practical experience. The curriculum is well-designed to provide both practical and theoretical knowledge. The faculty members are quite approachable; you can talk to them anytime, and you can also message or call them. I would say Nisha Ma'am is the best faculty member. There are six theory exams and mostly four lab exams, with only about 3-5% of students failing. The curriculum for the course is highly relevant to the industry.
