A glimpse of AEC

The college has a consistent record and the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is at its best . Student have a good placement record from this department. The faculty are much knowledgeable and impart proper education.

Various companies visit the institution including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Students need to work with consistency and pay attention to their studies and score good in all their semesters for better placement. Average package ranges within 3-4 lakhs.

The total course fees is near about 5,00,000/-. Per semester fees lies in between 60,000/- to 67,000/- which may increase even along with the exam fees (affiliated to MAKAUT ) ; i.e 1200/- per Semester, and in case you had a backlog you again need to pay 1000/- to clear the paper. Besides, there are scholarship options which you may apply. Moreover, if you belong to West Bengal, you have a variety of options.

Apart from studies, there are varities of co curricular activities held in the campus. You are also taken for technical and industrial visits too. There are various clubs including cultural, sports , IEEE, Hardware club . Fests are held . It's an amazing place.

I applied for other colleges including Techno India in Kolkata, Heritage Institute also in Kolkata, but Asansol Engineering College was near to my home which made me choose this college. I didn't even have to apply for hostel .

The faculty is good. They help you in every required field no doubt. Laboratories are well maintained. The college is affiliated to MAKAUT and from 2024 onwards has become autonomous It is one of the best colleges of West Bengal and like every college has its own pros and cons. Many courses are available and course fees depends upon the course you choose which may range from 5-7 lakhs. The college has grading system and marks are given in the form of CGPA. Grades are given depending on the marks you score in the semester as well as internals are equally important.
