KIIT UNIVERSITY

Kiit university is a student friendly university. It is situated in the heart of the state capital Bhubaneswar. It is very well connected with the outside world. The campus are state of art architectural peices and everything in the university is well coordinated and carried out without any hassels.

Course curriculum are well updated according to present industry demand. Each semester has to examinations. One midsemester exam and another end semester xam. Mid semester is of 20 marks and end sem xam consited of 50 marks. And rest 30 out of the 100 marks is for assignments and quizes conducted throughout the semester.

Placements are till now good and almost 90% of students get placed through campus recruitment program held after 6 semester. Many renowned companies visit throughout the entire process. These companies are from different sectors. It includes core sector it sector and other consultancy services.

Kiit celebrates no of cultural and technical programs time to time through out the calender. Fest like KIIT FEST are conducted every year. It is a techno cultural fest and the biggest fest of the university.It also conduct other small department fest like KRITARTH CHIMERA etc. It also comducts KIIT INTERNATIONAL MUN.

Fee structure is moderate as compared to other private colleges and deemed universities. During the time of counselling they collect a draft of 75000 which includes 10000 as counselling fee and rest are used for supplying all textbooks, instuments, laptop and other necessecities. Apart from that it charges 1,50,000 per semester as education fee. There is no other hidden charges apart from this.

Yes the college provides scholarshio discounts on the institutional fee for top 100 students of KIITEE examination. The discount depends upon the rank of the student. Apart from this it also provides stipent facilities for alumini wanting to continue with other higher education courses from KIIT

There are a lot of extracurricular activities going on through out the calender. Foreign faculties are invited for special lessons or workshop on so some important topics. Labs are also well maintained with all modern equipments for all round developement of the student. Apart from tht university also afeers sports option like cricket football basketball hockey swimming and gymnasium too.

The seniors are very much helpful. They help us too muc in both acadamic and non academic activities. They clear our doubts they help us in our projects and assignments if any. The alumni are also connected to the university through the various societies.

I appeared for KIITEE entrance exam conducted by KIIT. After the results were published a rank card was out and conselling date was fixed. I attained the counselling process where the branch is allocated according to choice and the rank of KIITEE examination.

Faculty are all good .They are well trained and skilled in their respective feild. They are helpful cooperative and ready to solve the problem of the student as far as possible. There are tutor mentors also allocated to each student who guide us throughout the stay in their university.
