Course Curriculum Overview

The placements from government encouraged me to take this course. Today so many constructions are there so now their is increasement of job vaccines in civil engineering. Improvement of course need more practical examination

Internship available is techmagi it provides internships. And i took internship from Madekal construction which is related about construction related topics. And from water authority department it gives more idea about coming projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise college fees is approximately upto one lakh it includes all fees tution fees varies with semseter in odd sems fees is higher than other sem. Basically for reservation categories fees is very lower compared to others

Campus Life

Asthra, sargam are the mpst popular technical events done. Most propably on may june month is conducted. Accessible of books and journals are available plenty in the college library and department library.

Hostel Facilities

Room contains of fan and 3 cuboard and three switch boards room sharing is for three people's allowded.food quality is not good registration process is by filling the form. Inside the college hostel is available

Admission

Because i heard about this college and course were excellent and I put my first preference is this college. Admission process is taking allotment that is the first step for this and based on the Keem examination the rank is prefered

Faculty

The faculty students ratio, is nice but their is lack of availability of teacher. Mostly friends relation. I like Jenson sir because he is always supportive and exams are conducted based on ktu calender

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

My options were SJCET and AJCE. Now both are autonomous, when i was there to join a student commit suicide and my friend was already a student who pursuing ece and said dont ever come to the hell. For SJCET silly fight issues were there but its a college not a church it can happen . But now sjcet is more strict than ajce. No suicides in sjcet. Ajce is 10/10 for looks and event. I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
