Course Curriculum Overview
I made the decision of choosing this course is because of it being a very much good course and is considered of high importance and also as I wanted a valuable undergraduate degree. The course is more focused on mathematics which i think should be on economics. The difficulty level of exams is high and needs a lot preparation.
Internships Opportunities
I have no information about the internship opportunities available in my college as I am not being provided or told about one till today, though I had been promised of being provided with intership opportunities by my department members several times but still not provided with one.
Placement Experience
Placements in my college is average with 30-40% of students being placed with an average package of 3-4 lacs p.a. ,with companies including Juspay, Astral,IBM,etc. Student after 5 semester become eligible for placements. My plans after getting the degree is to go for MBA, crack the CAT exam as I have no hope of placement from my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid ?14,500 which included ?1000 as admission fee so the annual fees if around ?13,500. There is ?100 being takes for issuing your ID card. Fees of my other batchmates is same as mine. In my knowledge there is no scholarships or financial aid available for students.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life is very much bad having the worst crowd with the most illiterate students. Not much importance given to societies as well as to the events held. Some of the events like Genesis by Abhivyanjana and Annual fest by Enactus society happens to be alot good.
Admission
I also applied in private universities like galgotias and Manipal, and got a call letter from them but then chose DU because of the high difference in fees . You need to give CUET to get into university of Delhi and it's cutoff depends on different colleges
Faculty
The faculty-to- student ratio is fine. The facilities are approachable.I liked the statistics teacher of my course being very helpful and knowledgeable, I didn't like the economics teacher of my course as they had no teaching quality. There are two exams annually which are semester wise, in my knowledge no student failed in my course.
