Likes

Most of the faculties except few are very helpful
There is no ragging at all in the campus. All the juniors and seniors are very friendly withone another
The course outline and way pf teaching and the subjects covered are good

Dislikes

College campus. Ut is just a building. Sometimes classrooms are also not available
No fan in the corridor and only 2 lifts so very prblematic during lecture timings
Canteen service is the worst. Sometimes vada pav is also not available which is the basic. Only chinese item was available

Everything is Good curriculum is also very nice Teaching metvods are veey worse of some teachers. Some of them did not know the concept they are teaching to us. For example genomics and proteomics teacher.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

2 lakhs oee year fees. Extra fees was charged for examination that was 2600. And other lab breakage fees was also charged for everyone that was 500 per person and moreover for less attendace fees was charged that was about 5k to 10k

Campus Life

Campus is okayish. It is just a 12 floor builfing. There are no fans in the corridor. Also there are only 2 lifts. So during peak lecture timings it gets difficult for everyone. Canteen serivice is worse. Onpy chinese items are availabile and food is also not good. Sometimes vada pav is alos not there.

Admission

The only Reason i chose thos college was i wanted to stay in mumbai itself and the course i wanted was Btech Biotechnology i didn't want to do BSc and the only college providing this course in mumbai was DY Patil and Amity. I didn't go for Amity bcz i had heard the students and faculty there and also the environment around is not good. So i chose D Y Patil. The admission process is very easy u just need to pay fees thats it.

Faculty

All the faculties are good except few. They are very friendly. Some of them are very gpod at teaching. Course structure is perfwct all the subjects importamt are covered in course. Exam pattern is good but checking is not done properly in some cases.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

honest review focusing around accommodations, reality, college life, placements

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
