I just applied to this college. There's no quota available, however, students who scored more than 85% in 12th boards get 50,000 off in the second year. Admission criteria- 60% Or above in 12th boards You get an appointment where admission officers give you all the details.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in this subject. There's enough faculty to handle the classroom, the ratio is 1:30 Almost all the faculty have at least one doctorate degree and teach properly. There are two exams conducted in each sem and you need to score at least 50% to pass the semester. The difficulty is intermediate.
Internships Opportunities
College doesn't offer any internship placements, students can apply for internships directly through online platforms like Internshala etc, companies that take in interns are, reliance life science, many hospitals like fortis. However, students have to do a 6-month project of their choice related to biotechnology in the 8th semester.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement after graduation. Students get to go on industry visits in 3rd year. Batchelor of biotechnology makes around 2-3 lakhs pa. The highest ever is 6lakhs pa. Around 30-40% of students get college placements. I will be studying master's degree after this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the course are as follow- 2,10,000 for the first year and 2,00,000 for the remaining 3years. However, you may need to spend more than 8-10 thousand throughout on the study material. There's no scholarship
Campus Life
Annual fest is called - species Tech fest is also conducted called - technozar And sports fest is called- olimpiya which is conducted in main campus. All the books are available in the library. Classrooms are well ventilated with a projector. The college has a gym There are many clubs in college, rotaract club, sports club, dance club, art club, singing clubs etc.
