- The college has a lush green beautiful and aesthetic campus with lots of trees.Inside there is also a pond.
- College is able to attract a good amount of companies. Placement in decent and if student does good hardwork then they will get good placement
- This college is not too much crowded.And girls is to boys ratio is quite good.
Dislikes
- Mostly kannada speaking population,you may feel leftout sometimes.
- Placement is decent only not good you have to really work hard on your skills.
- Campus is located on a hilly area,too much incline. Infrastructure is decent,do not come if you good infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Coding/Programming is an important part of the curriculum and the major reason I chose this college. The curriculum is not very much relevant for real world applications. Too many useless subjects are there in the name of overall development. Everything taught should be relevant and should meet industry expectations. Frequency of exams are too much you really need to manage you time accordingly.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are eligible for placement. On an average 70 companies visit every year and offers made are 750+. Above 80% students are placed. Highest package is of 43 lpa by Adobe. And average is around 5.6lpa. My plans after getting degree is get placed in a good company or a good startup .
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of this college is 3,00,000INR approx. In which 2,72,000INR is tution fee and 27,135INR is miscellaneous fees. The hostel fees for triple sharing for one year is 93,000INR. The above mentioned fees is for students who are taking addmission through COMEDK counselling.
Campus Life
This college conduct a annual fest named verve. This college has 8 clubs(dance, singing, photography, fashion, anchoring,drama etc.) Projector are in class. Quite a good number of labs. There are many social groups and doing social services is very necessary. Sports facilities are decent kind of average average. Cricket, football,lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, basketball are present. Library is quite good you can issue 3 books at a time
Hostel Facilities
Many PGs are located nearby ranging from 5000inr to 15000inr per month with average food.Food can vary in different PGs mostly average south Indian food is present. Hostel facility is quite good. Spacious rooms, alternative cleaning, washing machine, sports,good food etc. Hostel fees is 93,000 INR Per year for 3 share
Admission
I applied at comedk level. According to my rank I got this college and I also made some huge mistake in choise filling. You may get confused between JSSST Mysore and JSSATE Bangalore. Admission process in this college is very smooth,in 30 minutes everything was done.
Faculty
Faculty is quite supportive and more than 250 faculty for 4000+ students. First year coordinator Nityanand Choudhary is very friendly and supportive faculty. The chemistry faculty is kind of rude and unnecessarily strict sometimes she feels like a primary class teacher. The course curriculum is not too much tough.You just have to study the notes properly.Exams are not easy and not too tough also it's the mixture of both. For exam pattern and marking scheme you can reffer to VTU website.
