Course Curriculum Overview

Being a part of NEP i.e., the new education policy, we get knowledge of other fields besides our major paper which really improves our knowledge as well as pov of the world around us eventually preparing us for the exams in the future as well

Internships Opportunities

They provide us surveys and prepare us for internships. Depending on the department we are on they provide different internships For example for computer science students They provide internship in Nagabots etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise fee is 13000 during admission and 5000-4000 each semester for readmission They also provide awards with a huge amount of monry for bright students and also give out helping money for the needy

Campus Life

The overall experience is quite good. Being a fresher sometimes it is quite difficult to catch up with things but at the end the seniors and teachers guides us to our best and helps us improve We have labs for different departments, Lots of busses. Football, badminton, volleyball, basketball etc are the sports the college is most active on. The college also has an esports team uplifting the scopes of esports as well

Hostel Facilities

They provide us with a bed, study table and a cloth wardrobe. The menu of the fooding is Fish, pork, chicken, and egg in the evenings and potato with dal in the morning hours The hostel is located near the college as well making it easy for the travel

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

The other colleges i applied were St. Joseph university dimapur, Downtown university Assam, kaziranga university Assam. The eligibility for my college to get admission is based on our percentage in the 12th boards On some years they also conduct entrance test for the admission process

Their sre around 70 faculties and abput a 2000 students They conduct two internal exams on a monthly basis and an end semester exam at the last The faculties from my department sre really good and understanding which makes us want to learn more

The curriculum course are good .. as not for me .. the ones im interested in are not there... But for the others it has benefited alot of the students .. They should add various more course curriculum The exams timings are fine...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

My life in Kohima Science College, Jotsoma

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject (Chemistry) because it is interesting in a way. We get to know many new things. The teachers doesn't care much about preparing us for any such pursuits. There is need for improvements in many curriculums and teaching methods. The class starts by 9AM in the morning and ends by 2:30PM in the afternoon.

The course is effective and well organized and so it influences me to take up chemistry course as it has something that is so interesting to learn, it also enables me to learn about the formation of each matter and how it constitutes atoms in every single thing, learning about chemicsls and their reaction is so ridiculous and hilarious at the same time, we enjoy every little thing from this course, this course will give me a better future as i look from my perspective and i like it very much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, the curriculum had 0 impact on my decision like most students do? Like i said the curriculum has a good blend of all the topics a physics should should be good at and has a healthy number of important practicals as well to prepare us for the real world Well, i would adopt a modern method of teaching using slides and videos in a projector instead of the classic white board and pen especially for the topics of physics which require images and well drawn images and processes to fully understand it The frequency of exam is low.

A good college with well educated and friendly faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.

Kohima Science College is a peaceful environment where the faculties and the students can interact really well. I applied for other 2 colleges but they had entrance exam which i couldnt make through but this college has no entrance exam. I chose this college as I didn't get selected in JEE exams and i believed that taking a gap would turn into a wastage of time so I chose this college and also it is quite reasonable compared to other private colleges.
