The area of university is very big. So roaming is not easy here

Course Curriculum Overview

The staff is very good and honest. There are so much extra circular activities in the university. They are also many and many events of dancing music gaming hackathon etc. Many parties and freshers are happened here

Internships Opportunities

Internship are at Chandigarh university Mohali but u haven't opted for it but soon I will opt it but the things I've listened that there are so many opportunities for us and many students are been enrolled already in it

Placement Experience

The placement is good In Chandigarh university. Many of big companies are coming daily and daily for placement. Many foreigners are come to give placement for students for international level. Other universities have no placements of this type

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for btech is 120000 per semester. The fees for batch 2024 is 130000. We got scholarships by exam of cucet. I got 15% scholarships .It is very good university for btech and other courses. I prefer it so much.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of university is very good and well developed. The campus life is very amazing and make students very well. The club involvement is very important in university. So they have many and many clubs and societies for students .

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are very good. There are both Ac and non Ac rooms are available. There are total of 10 buildings of hostel in campus and other hostels are from outside of campus. The hostel have all facilities like food water bed almirah wifi etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The other colleges have less placement compare to Chandigarh university. Many big and big companies are come to this university. Many big celebrities and singers are also come here to make enjoy with students

Faculty

The faculty is good In this university. They are make a good relation with students and motivate them fully and always with the students in their problems. They give extra classes and doubt classes also

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
