Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is Industrial Internet Of things which is a new course in our college. College gives us mini projects to be worked on in which our doubts are cleared and we learn a lot of things from it. I think more subjects should be included related to our course. Talking about the exams, as our college is autonomous, No options between two questions are provided. You have to compulsorily solve all of the questions. Paper is set difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college provides much internship opportunities for students. Many internship programs are also held to aware students about the companies. Name of some of the internship companies are Amdocs, Microsoft excel, S&P, Quarking Aspen, Motorola solutions, Microsoft, and many other.

Placement Experience

4

From semester 7, students are eligible for campus placements. As I'm in 7 semester, companies such as Cognizant, Infoysis, Accenture have visited till now.The highest package of our college is 20-21 lakhs and average package is 5 lakhs. Mostly each student gets placed by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to fill a DD during admission process. The total DD amount should be of 25,000 and then in first year if you belong to SC caste you have to apply for online scholarship and you get a scholarship of 93,900 out of which you have to pay 89,100. Per semester you have to pay 3,100 which includes other university fee be, medical fee be, library fee be and annual clearance fee bee

Campus Life

3

As my Course is Internet of things, we come under electronics department. And there are many annual events and technical fests. "Yash" is one of the greatest events of all. It is for all departments. It includes Freshers party, and other events. Technicak fest of Electronics department is Itech roots which is also a very big event of our department. Many other sports events are also held at our college

Admission

I applied for G.H Raisoni college, Ramdeobaba college, Priyadarshini college and Yeshwantrao chavhan college. In Cap round 1, I was selected for Ycce college and in Cap2 also I was selected for the same college. I asked my friends and relatives and some of the students of ycce about this college and got to know that this college is very nice in campus placement and other activities and is NAAC A+++ credited. Eligibility for this course was 45 percentile in MHT CET exam and I got 72 Percentile so i was eligible

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculties are nice in teaching and behaviour but some faculties are rude with the students. The student faculty ratio is proper as many teachers are provided for different subjects. I liked Gedam sir for their behaviour with students. They taught us about the subject "The constitution of India". They taught very well. There is a teacher named Pravin Zode Sir whom I don't like because of their rude behaviour. That sir insults me and my friend in front of every other faculty. Many times Ive cried about this thing but that Sir doesn't care. Talking about the Exam structure, each semester exams are conducted. There are total of 6 units in each subject from which MSE-1 that is mid semester 1 is based on first 3 units and then the Mse-2 is based on the other 3 units. After Mse1 and Mse2 ESE exam that is end semester exam is taken which is based on all 6 units. As my course is Industrial Internet of things, Ive many subjects related to my course such as IOT applications, etc

Interview Experience

0.5

No I didn't face any Group discussion or interview for admission process. Eligibility criteria for admission in this college is based on your score inMHT CET exam. You should have a good score and based on that, and the cuttoff criteria, course is alloted

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
