Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always had an interest in Electronics and so I decided to take it as my major. I should say that the curriculum is designed perfectly for the branch. Even my friends from other branches say that their curriculum is almost perfect and on point. There are also different extra subjects like economics, environmental science, etc. included in our curriculum so that we can gain extra knowledge about the world we live in.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunites are fairly good. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, BOSCH, KPIT, Infosys, JSW, IBM, Tata Power, etc. bring in many opportunities for deserving students with various different roles for studentsfrom different branches.

Placement Experience

4

Students can start internships from first year itself, but even though the faculty members help students to get them, the internship needs to be off-campus. On-campus internships start from the third year itself, but mostly the students get in for an internship in the fourth year

Fees and Financial Aid

My admission was through the management quota, so I had to pay a full fess of Rs. 1,22,000. For OBC quota, it is around Rs. 65,000; and for SC/ST it is around Rs. 1,000 for the first year, then from the second year, the development fess is waived off for everyone. The total fees for all the courses is the same, i.e., Rs. 1,22,000

Campus Life

5

Every year, for the first year students, there is an official freshers' party in then college organised by the First Year Students Association, also known as FESA, and there is also a cultural event for the students of all the classes known as Gandharv, it lasts for about a week. Also, the seniors are very nice to the junior students. They are always helpful and friendly and noragging takes place in or outside the college campus.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel fee costs roughly around Rs. 50,000. There is no food service inside the hostel, but the hostel and canteen are side by side and the canteen has a mess facility, but most of the students go to small restaurents around the college to have their food anyway, and since the locality is safe, their is no problem about that. The registration process for the hostel is also fairly simple. There are also many housing societies around the college in which the owners provide flats on rent to the bachelors, and they range around Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month for a number of 4-6 students. Many students live in the college hostel for the first two years and then rent a flat with their friends for the next two years.

Admission

I lost my father in an accident just before the day of my CET exam, and so I couldn't concentrate in my exam and got aless grade which gave me an option to get in any college through the management quota, and I chose this college because of what I heard from different people about this college. When I got in the college, I thought this was just like any other college, but over time I realised that the faculties, the staff and the students themselves make this college different from other colleges, and I realised that everything the people said to me was true - about the faculties; about the environment of the college; about the placements; everything!

Faculty

5

The relationship between the faculties and the students is as good as it should be. The faculties are really the specialists in their fields. They teach in a simple language which everyone can easily understand and help the students any way they can. The teachers also provide the notes in the classes and they also upload them on the college portal so that anyone who was absent that day for any reason can easily access the notes with no problem.

Night Life

4

The night life in the campus is pretty much normal. All the students gather in the food court or canteen to have their dinner. Some students also go to the small restaurents around the college for the same. The gate of the girls' hostel closes at 9 p.m. and that of the boys' hostel closes at 9:30 p.m.There is a spot in the campus named Badam chowk, many students gather there all day round to have a chat or just pass their time. Also, the locality around the college is safe to take a stroll in the night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance: 8.5/10 (High Industry Alignment) The curriculum is highly relevant because it is one of the few in India specifically designed under the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. PSU Alignment: The topics covered—such as Industrial Safety, Petroleum & Petrochemical Fire Safety, and Hazard Management—directly align with the requirements of top recruiters like ONGC, IOCL, and GAIL. NEP Integration: The college has recently transitioned to the New Education Policy (NEP), which introduces more flexible, research-oriented, and interdisciplinary learning modules, making the degree more modern and globally competitive. Practical Edge: The "Fire Ground Operations" (FGO) are not just physical exercise; they are a live application of the hydraulics and chemistry you learn in the classroom.

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.
