Course Curriculum Overview

3

Because you do not have to study physics and chemistry in cse.subjects which you will study here are very revelant to your course Yeah curriculum prepares you for real world applications as last year is filled with internship

Internships Opportunities

3

As a fresher i do not know much about internship.bu t many companies like microsoft, google, zomato, tisco, siemens etc visit here.also the average pacake provided by these companies are more than 12 LPA here.

Placement Experience

3

Placements here in nit delhi is decent. Every year more than 80% get placed.also average package is around 17LPA Every year.this was one of the aspect thats why i choose this college.google, Microsoft visit here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee i am gonna pay here is 32000 to college,56000 to hostel,36000 to mess.We had to pay 10000 caution money to both hostel and mess. For most general case ,someone has to pay 125000 per year as tution fee

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life here is average Regular fests are organised here Range of books available here is vast.Almost you can get every book here. Some of the clubs here are technical, photography, sports, etc Facilities here are also decent

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are not that good here rn.but in upcoming year it is gonna be alright as new hostels building is almost complete.Mess quality is bad here.to register in hostel you have to pay caution money+hostel fees

Admission

Because of josaa.i applied to most of nits but my preference was to get cse in best one.jee advanced didn't go well for me thats why i was also not able to apply to iits. To get into nit delhi cse you have to get around 10000 rank in jee mains

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is not good here as the college is new and growing Also many of the faculties are not that qualified. In cse you have to do 7 subjects in first semester. Exams here are of medium difficulty level

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is good if I compare it to other colleges except iits and some nits. Students get eligible in 6 sem for college placements. Many company visits my college during college placements like Google, microsoft, amazon, flipkart, uber etc. they offer good packages highest package which I remember is around 1.2 cr and the lowest is 4lpa. Percentage of students who got placed in my branch is 57 percent where this no. becomes 80 or 90 percent in case of tech branches. My plan after getting degree is to get placed in any company with around 15-20lpa or I will prepare for government exams.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year the students are become eligible for campus placement and showcase their skills to getting the placement. There are so many companies visiting the college every year apple, Microsoft, DRDO, swift, google, airforce, facebook, meta etc it is dependence on your skills and learning experience and college CG marks to get placement from oncampus company by giving interview and doing exam of specific company that you want to apply in which course you specialist. In my course it is newly launched course in which companies are offering highest package to students in previous years average package goes to 13 lac and highest package goes to 24 lac and this year average package goes to 14-15 lac and highest goes to 48 lac. In my course 60-80 % students are placing in compies all over the world.

Remarks:

The management is quite strict about academics and any sort of dishonesty is not tolerated (even if you copy slightest of thing from assignment, they have advanced technologies to detect the plagiarism) and straight away an F grade is given (which is Fail in that course). But this helps us doing things on our own and learning a lot. The research culture is very good here. Btech students from first year starts contributing to it.

What different our university from other colleges across the country is that it teaches us to have a better way of life. A whole lot of people exist and we need to learn to cooperate, tackle, take things in our stride and learn to just let minor things go. College prepares you for that. Other than that, our management turns out to be a hiccup for students whether it is getting signatures or getting your work done. Despite this, Jamia will be one of the best universities.
