What Students Say
Likes
- The life at the college is quite chill as per now as this is only my first sem. But, seniors are also quite friendly and helpful here.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited here. Rules are quite strict.
- The institute is growing at a very fast pace.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of this institute is still developing and thus lack a lot of facilities.
- The auditorium is too small for a institute of national importance.
- The girls to boys ratio is just like a typical engineering college especially in our branch. Even in mechanical, they had a better girls to boys ratio than us.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the best thing I like here. It has implemented the NEP. The course is quite relevant and provides a lot of flexibility. It also gives the practical knowledge that is required for industry. The college also provides internship opportunities to students.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies are giving internship opportunities here even the tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle. The institute is providing a lot of opportunities for the students and the tnp cell is working very hard to make it possible.
Placement Experience
In 7th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements. But, they need to pass the 7th and 8th semester to get that placement otherwise the company will not take that student. Almost 98% students got placed last year. The highest package was 83lpa and the average was 18 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
So, the fees for the first sem of BTech first year is Rs 1,06,500 (day scholar) and Rs 1,54,500 (for AC hostel) and Rs 1,44,500 (for Non AC hostel). The fees is increasing each year as per last few years trend and the institute is itself growing very rapidly from the past few years.
Campus Life
The campus life is mid. As the institute is still under development, there are not many tests you'd be able to see. The sports facilities are quite good. There are a societies and clubs also and they are quite active nowadays too. The freshers party here is so bad.
Admission
As I'm getting CSE in one of the most reputed institutes in India, NITs. So, I opt for this. I also got DTU CSE but I chose it over DTU because of the NIT network with other NITs and IITs that gives you that exposure.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good. As it doesn't have a high intake of students, students could get better interactions with our professors. Most of the professors are quite young, helpful and friendly.
