Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course in itself is a very compact and resourceful course as the faculties are most of the time up to date and their process of explanation is really easy to understand as well as grasp in terms of comprehending the topic The timing of exams could be worked on a bit as at times before the exam the faculties have not finished with the portion

Internships Opportunities

2

Since I am a first year as student I have not gotten internships yet but over the duration of my course during my last years I will be going for an internship and from what I have heard the internship is quite resourceful

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fees that I paid was 60000 plus additional 35000 as I am an NRI,plus there was an application fees of rupees 2000 which I paid to fill out the application form and I also paid 3500 for the uniform

Campus Life

4

We have our annual sports day called KRIDOTSAV which happenens in dec to Jan,as well as our ethnic day which happens in sept to Oct. The collection of Books in the library is quite extensive. Sports has been given massive emphasis here with a dedicated coach for each sport There are also lots of clubs like investors, anchors, ncc, writers etc

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel room is quite decent size wise and there is no curfew on taking in deliveries. Meals are average and not so bad eighter Registering for the Hostel includes filling a form and paying the fees to the bank account provided by them

Admission

I applied in Christ and St.Josephs as well, but since kristu jayanti got back to me first,i decided to come here.I chose this college over others as I have a couple of people who have passed out as well as those who are studying give me input on the college as well researching and finding out that the student life over here is also good. I did not get rejected from any college, since KJC got back to me first,i decided to come here The admission process of my college is pretty simple,u go to the site ,pay the application fees, full out the form, they will set a date for the admission interview, clear the interview, pay the fees and your admission is all set.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very approachable and very easy going, they make us comfortable in deciding to approach them for clearing our queries. There are 2 exams ,mid sems and end sems. Mid sems are much more compact and easier than end sems

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

The average package the company's provide is 7 lakh per annum. They 75% of students how are applied for the placement are getting the jobs. My plans after the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
