Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is very good and relevant with more practical and real world closely related to real world problems. Teaching methods are mostly theory and chalk and talk which can be improved as it becomes booring and long at times frequency is good and exams are easy to prepare.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many startup companies along with large companies which offer internships although many wont give stipend it is still a good experience to work under it companies making us ready for placement. The mini projects are main things which the companies see before giving a job.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college offers in campus placements with a good placement percentage of around 80 percent we are eligible for placements from 6th and 7th sem companies like microsoft google Accenture tata tcs and many more give good number of offers with 60lpa highest and 8 lpa average I am planning to get placed after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly I paid 55k which included 41k in tution fees which was paid to the Counceling and an additional 13k was paid as miscellaneous fees directly to the college during admission. Through kcet counseling I got a lower fees for my course which is aided hence has less fees but other courses are around 1.3l. It is incresing but very slightly. Ssp scholarship can be available for anyone by the government. For scst the fees for first year is around 30k

Campus Life

4.5

Utsav is one of the biggest cultural fest in bangalore and Phaseshift is a big technical fest conducted in our college. Although the infrastructure is good but small. The library has almost everything you will ever need for study. There are many clubs you can join and get morr connection between others.

Admission

I mainly choose this college over the others as it is a highly reputed college in bangalore and also in india. I also applied in rv but did not get a seat due to the high cuttoff. Mainly one can get into this college is by kcet comedk exams also through management

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is good there are many teachers and they maintain good relationship between the student. Chetanraj sir dean mamta mam are good teacher i liked. There are 3 internal exams 1 main exam mostly difficult and many fail some subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
