Likes

Athmoshere of college is an amazing factor. The campus is eco friendly & a lot bamboo trees are there which felt as a postive factor. We have an open gym where we can workout during lesiure time
We have a tech fest named Tharang which is held on 2 days on odd semesters. It is great event & important event of the college. We have coding session, motor show, gaming sessions, conserts etc., which is a kind of stress busters.
Faculty is really helpful & Academics are going in a systematic ways which helps the students learn more. Skill development & other coding related course awareness are given by the respective faculties which is very helpful.

Dislikes

Sometimes i felt like the college is a little bit strict.

I think ther should include more skill developing programs & courses which will be helful during placements. Curently the sylubus im doing is 2019 scheme under ktu. They can bring more changes in the sylubus.

Internships Opportunities

WE have INTEGRATED INDUSTRIAL INCUBATION CENTER in college which is in collabration with tata. I havent done any internships from there so im not well aware of the intrenship. i hope more intenship opprtunities will be provided. Faculty encourage interships which can be done from out of campus

Placement Experience

Well im not that much aware of the placements since i havent reached that level yet. Im just on my second year, But 100+ companies are taking students in campus interviews. s7 s8 students are eligible for placements. The maximum LPA offered till now is 1200000. I will be trying placements. If i couldnt persue i will be trying out of campus placements or masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Im studying at Jyothi engineering college cherthurithi. Im doing my Btech in computer science engineering. Im studying in managment qouta. So my fee for a sem is 45000 rupees which is approximately 90000 rupees a year. I havent recived any scholarship benifits since im doingmy course under the management qouta. 45000 rupees includes tution fees,caution fee,registration fee & lab fees. One of my friend pays 6000 as sem fees because he has a scholarship. Im havinf a bus fee whice is 8000 rupees. Computer science most of the students pay the amout of 45000 rupees as fee.

Campus Life

Tharang is a tech festival which is held on evey year in odd sems in our college. It contains a technical & non technical events like laser tag, cycle&bike stunt motor show,planetrium food stalls & other engaging events. We also have union day which is an event where people who are elected through election is taken pledge & other cultural events are held. libarary facilities provided.

Admission

I need a nearby college. For me Jyothi engineering college is only 30 mins. So it will be more convinent to do my course since i was not intrested in doing my degree far from home. Jyothi has a culture & it keeps a decorem. The campus is really amazing and gives the students a peacefull mind.

Faculty

2 Internal exams are held on each sem. The marks obtained in it,attendence& others works are calculated & overall interanals are published. Faculty members are very friendly & we are able to communicate doubts & other realated to course in a good way, Healthy relashionship between faculties & students.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. I got many reviews from my school teachers and seniors about this college and decided to join. The admission process is very simple. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. The real review

Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
