Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is a very serious and a little hard we have to keep up everyday studies so as to achieve the goal. Daily learning is a very important aspect incase of mbbs curriculum. Once we take the path we have to be a life long learner

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The end of 4 ½ year journey students are posters as house surgeon aither in hospital in various departments or in the phc near the college. They also have hostel facilities but food is not provided. .

Fees and Financial Aid

So I paid approx 8 lakhs this year for academic and again a 110000 for hostel fees Every year there maybe a rise in the fee accordingly this year also it was raised . At the end of this course nearly 50 lakhs rupees is given alone as academic fees

Campus Life

3.5

There are few events in college but kalolsavam and sports college seems to be shining. In timetable itself the Saturday afternoon given time for extra curricular activities but students seems to be chilling at the time freshen up the mind

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility seemto be fine first year currently doesn't have a washing machine but the other two floor have washing machine. The food now Is good . No ragging from seniors they are helpful when comes to studies

Admission

The faculites seems to be skilled and the college overall seems to be not too expensive compared to other private medical colleges. The college seems to be a little bit nearer to a town rather than any other private medical College and also the public transport also seems to be much more

Faculty

4

The faculites seems to be very dedicated and tries to teach us with whole heart. All hods of department are experienced doctors and some of faculities have a decade experience in the field. There cbme curriculum now

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doctors are always a need for the society. The curriculum deals mainly in healing people which attracted me towards it. The curriculum has specific competencies a student should achieve in order to be competent as an Indian Medical Graduate. These competencies are set of skills every student should acquire. Teaching should be more practical oriented and theory should be reduced. More competencies should be included. Frequency of exams doesnt affect much. but portions to be studied for each exams are bit heavy. Difficulty level is moderate to hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course facilitates learning in each and every department of the medical college which gives us accessibility on how each wing works..giving us an idea to help decide where we see our future. Since we start clinical practice from our 2nd year and interactions with the patients continously it prepares us for almost every situation, since it is a government college we see all kinds of people from all backgrounds, giving us a different type of exposure. Some departments have fewer faculty making it difficult for them to care for the students and patients at the same time so the students maybe left unattended. Exams occur almost on a monthly basis, some harder than the others, but all are quite easy to pass with adequate studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our study is prepared by National medical council and all the government medical colleges and private medical colleges in India are compelled to follow their rules. I like medical profession because I really likes the biology I opted it. The teaching method in government medical colleges are little bit different from that of our schools since we have clinical classes to handle also other professors are very good at teaching us by the aids of projection. MBBS courses very difficult to study also very interesting to study we have early basis exams in which each exam is conducted it the end of the year since the course is five and half years, in which four and half years of teaching and one year of internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBSS out of my own personal interest. However bewarned, it is not for everyone. Its a very hectic life. There are much less faculty available for each student but that is the case in every medical college. All faculty are mbbs, PG and PSC passed. They are very dedicated, if free from other works. Exams are very plenty, almost too much for most students. Passing an exam itself is a hurdle for most people and all subjects are indeed hard to cover

I chose MBBS as it has been one of my dreams since my childhood and it's my parent's dream more than mine. Faculties teaching in the First year min qualification is a master of science in the particular subject and from the second year onwards the minimum qualification is MBBS for every faculty. Three exams per year and you have to pass any one exam to write in university exam and it's somewhat difficult to pass if you start studying at last
