Course Curriculum Overview

5

The new cbme curriculum makes medical students more competent for their future clinical practices and also helps to build a strong base for their higher education. The college also conducts numerous CME sessions that also prepares the students who to practice in the changing environment.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship is provided by the hospital itself for one year which is compulsory for all students. During the internship period students are also posted to periphery centres ,mostly government phc and chc

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined, the fee per annum was Rs.6,22,800/- without including hostel... The hostel fee will be approximately 1,1000/- per year... The college also provides transportation services for those who don't want to stay in hostel which will be around 30k per annum. For the first year,we are supposed to give Rs.10,000/- as caution deposit. The total cost of studying would be under Rs.35lakhs. The college follows govt rules for scholarships for those who belongs to SC or ST categories. The management itself doesn't provide any scholarships. Overall the fee is affordable compared to other private medical institutions in the state

Campus Life

5

This campus is an excellent place not only academics but also for other activities including sports and arts College offers library facilities and its a mammoth challenge to walk around College also represents actively in every sports and arts competitions held by kuhas Overall campus provides adequate academic and extracurricular exposure

Admission

I've applied to some other colleges but I chose to join this college for certain reasons such as.. this college happens to be the nearest to my hometown and the fee structure seemed comparatively affordable. Admission to this college is through NEET UG exam.and the admission process is completely online

Faculty

5

Both the clinical and non clinical departments are adorned with well experienced and competent faculties who are very helpful and understanding. At each year, a group of 10 students are allocated to a faculty as their mentor who would guide the students to a better future. The faculties are friendly and approachable. All the departments have the best faculties to offer. Regarding the exams, There will be 2 internal(sessional)theory exams for 100 marks per paper and a model exam with practical section in addition to weekly formative assessments and endposting examinations. These exams also includes the MCQ pattern as per the new NMC guideline. All the exams are moderately easy...and students perform well in them

Night Life

5

Nighttimes are completely safe and the locality in and around campus is secure The hostel Coles by 9 pm at the night ,still students are able to order food if needed Hostels are providing gym facilities which is accessible to both boys and girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a bit tough rather than other courses (professional courses) MBBS is a 4 year course with 1 year compulsory internship dealing with a total of 13-4 subject over the 4 years The curriculum prepares us for the real world experiecne but more often the clinical subjects aim in patuent student interaction that overall help in the achievemnt of professionalism The frequency if exams are very high as there needs to be regular revision of subjects in order to prepare for the finals and perfect in all clinical theory and oractical aspects

Reviewed on Nov 30, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of high relevance as it ensures that the student learns everything he need to learn in an mbbs life to become a good doctor. The curriculum we are now following is decided by the National Medical Council (NMC) of India and is CBME curriculum. The curriculum include many Self directed learning methods and small group discussions etc which makes the learning interesting and easy. The curriculum definitely prepares the students to become a good doctor in future. Some minute improvements are still required like no need of these many SGDs for community medicine and forensic. It'll be better to include more field activities in community medicine . The frequency and timing of exams are sometimes a burden for the students as the exams are so close and they are not getting enough time to improve themselves which may affect their confidence. Sometimes the exams are scheduled in between some meets conducted by university which makes it difficult for the students to participate.
