Course Curriculum Overview

4

Basically I choosed this course because I wanted to be a teacher since childhood but when I listened to my family members I came to knew that govt teachers earn alot. Other than that our college is too good for b.el.ed. teachers keep check on us for your studies. And to apply b.el.ed in real life we will be going to slum areas for around a week at the end of the semester to get to know things better. Few areas were teaching methods should be improved is that one of our teacher is to strict she just throws out of the class without giving attendance. She should understand that we're travelling from so far it takes around 1hour 30min for me to reach college and not giving attendance is a really bad thing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

1st year fees is ?11,160 and same fees is for my batchmates which is quite affordable. Few scholarships are also available. Eligibility category for one of the scholarship were family income should be less then 6lakh per annum and 12th percentage should be 75% or above

Campus Life

3.5

Overall campus experience is not so good. Infrastructure is bad, it lies on the outskirts of the Delhi, no maintenance of hygiene. Few fests take place in our college like freshers party will be held after DUSU elections and some concerts are also held but only a few fests are there in our college. Library is really good and big so books are available according to courses like b.el.ed course has separate library, ba program has separate. But library opens 10am. Facilities and technology provisions are very bad in classrooms. Nss and all are available and societies are also available like dance society etc are there but we have to give admission for that. Sports is also there like badminton, volleyball, etc. we can take from sports room and play anytime

Admission

I chose this college over other du colleges because I couldn't got admission in one colleges more that is mata sundari college. Msc cutoff was more by 11 marks than my score. Other than that I applied in ip university and i didn't take admission in ip although I got 3 colleges but it was too expensive and i could not afford so I just confirmed admission in this college as other colleges were far away from my house. Moreover the admission process in my college and all other colleges of du is by giving CUET exam only. And all the students have to give cuet exam only to get admission in top universities like du,bhu, etc. cutoff for my course and college was 610/800

Faculty

4

Overall faculty is good and teachers are friendly and approachable. For example our teachers are great in teaching as it is also said that b.el.ed faculty in our college is too good. Our CI and CD teacher is very very kind. Our NL teachers is strict but other than that they are good. I am first year student so I don't know about the exams as I haven't given but after listening to seniors exams were of medium level 2-3 girls were fail others all passed to next year.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I wanted to study. It requires much attention, work to upgrade yourself for future. I think the teachers our good and helps in providing us more information about our course. As per the exams I wish there were atleast two exams being held for one's learning. I haven't taken any exam and only one exam is conducted in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

l choose a b.el.ed course because it's an addition to graduation + professional degree course. In this course job opportunities more than in the other courses so l choose this course and our experience enhanced about how to deal with primary children. It makes us responsible for our future young ones. The faculty is also good. All the faculty like the library, curriculum lab, and sports ground available easily. The teaching method is good All the teachers are very supportive and we'll be qualified. Their teaching skills are very nice. they gave us notes for a per topic.

Placement Experience:

There is nothing about placements as such in this course. You've to apply to schools that you like after you've graduated. You'll have to give the exams of that school if you're applying for a government school. You'll get preference over others since you'll be a pass out from Miranda, but it won't guarantee you a job. Of course, you can do your Master's and doctorate after you graduate to aim for higher posts. Or you can take up a job at a school and complete your master's from distance mode. As for me, I've planned on joining a government school in Mumbai. Since I've always been in love with that place since I was a child. I want to settle there. And a government school because the salaries are good. The starting salary of a normal teacher at a government school is 60,000 INR monthly which is quite decent when you compare it with other professions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have always wanted to become a teacher. The faculty: student ratio in this course is 1:10. Most of the teachers in this course have Doctorates. Others are in the process of completing their doctorates but are still highly competent and impressive. They teach mostly by lecture method. B.Ed is a course with an annual system. So main exams happen only once a year. But throughout the year, several activities and assignments are given. The exams are quite challenging, they will require you to study in depth and be on point.
