Likes
- College is good, it has great infrastructure and is graded naac a++ and all buildings are fully air conditioning
- There are so many societies and very easy to join them, and seniors are also very helpful
Dislikes
- The thing i hate about my college is that there is a very short ground where we play cricket as well as eat lunch, also there is common room in every building where we can play chess, carrom, 8 ball poll, table tennis, but it opens too late ie 3:40
- Other thing i hate is that 1 st year students are taught by new teachers which recently joinded the college and they did not know, they just write on board take attendance and go
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quiet good, we r studing c programming from 1 st year which is good and every day we have our 2 hr lab period which is also good, also exams are regular so study is also good, but there are some subjects like mp, hve, ic which also we study and have no benefits in our degree
Internships Opportunities
If you will study you will get 100% internships, there are many stidents who are doing summer internships from iit and many more companies like tcs, infoysis, mahindra and many more companies Placement records are not there as in next year furst batch will pass out but some stidents have got package of around 10 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
My college fees is 1 lakh 80 thousands including all except hostel ( as there is no hostel in college) , from second year your fees will decrease to 10000 , ie 1 lakh 70 thousand. And there is no scholarship provided by college
Campus Life
Fest are also there, every month ethinic day occur in which we have to wear some traditional outfits rather than western wear, Recently, arpit bala , bhappa, rajat chauhan and dj come and it was a quiet good and energetic fest, Sports facilities are also good, all type of sports are there
Admission
I have applied for so many volleges of ipu but i got only 2 options adgitm and vips, but i think vips is quiet good than adgitm , as it fully ac, labs are too good with all equipments, good benches and tables. Only thing is placement but seniors have tell that many students got placed with average package of 8 lakh and till now 33 lakh is highest,( i did not remember company name)
Faculty
Most of all faculty members are best and provide you everything that you will ask and take our doubts at anytime, ratio is also about 1:5 which is good, but some faculty members who recently joinded did not know anything about their subject, when we ask they saywe will tell you tomorrow and i have forgotten, or you have studied this in 12th Also there are exams after every month like one month study other month exam and this continues till end sem comes
Other Applied Colleges
Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Because it will provide lrivate degree and there is so much crowd
