Remarks

There are many things you will see in this college like strong interaction from seniors which you will dislike a lot but you will have to deal with it but the positive part is that our college management is trying hard to curb these things.

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

1

Not very good you have to do self study to compete with other students of premium institute. This college follows MAKAUT curriculum. Which frankly is old but as per latest curriculum they have introduced AI , Machine Learning courses.

Internships Opportunities

No! They will not provide you internships. You have to do all the things on your own. They least bother about other things other than placement. So, if you have some outside contact try to use them and get a referral.

Placement Experience

2

The placement was not that great but I can't say that it was bad. I mean it is average, many companies were visited our college like TCS, CTS, WIPRO, and others. The maximum package given was of 7 lakh and the average package is around 3.25 lakh.

College Events

1

There are not many events happens in our college other than College fest and annual sports. College fest are for three days, you will NOT enjoy much because of the low budget given by our college management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are not that much, in the second year College tuition fees are around 46,500 and hostel fees are around 16,500 per semester you can take an approx from these data. So, you can expect not very high fees

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they Provide scholarship but only for SC/ST candidates. If you are a general candidate then you will not get any scholarship and also Loan facilities are not provided by college you have to take your own

Campus Life

1.5

Labs are good. You will get all the facilities whether it is your computer science lab or an Electronics lab. Sports activities are zero, you will not get any sports facilities as far as other extracurricular activities are concerned, yes they organize some activities.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facilities are good but you will not get ACs or separate rooms. You will have to share your room with two candidates. But I am sure you will not complain about it. As far as Mess Foods are concerned you will get an Average experience but after the second year, you can expect good food qualities.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful if you approach them, in fact, some are working in big companies like Amazon, Intel, etc. But you can't rest on them because they are very few in number and you will have to do all the things on your own.

Exam Structure

The Examination is split between two set one is internal exam and other is Semester exam which comes roughly after 4 months and in between, there are two internal tests of 30 marks and semester exam are of 70 marks (per subject ) to get maximum marks you have to do good in internal exams.

Admission

I gave Jee Main but due to low rank i was not getting any good NITs. So, I appeared for WBJEE and managed to get a decent rank ( under 9000). After which I appeared for the counseling process and got this college. I want to add that this college also takes admission through JEE Main.

Faculty

0.5

Faculty are bad except two or three. Frankly speaking, some faculty are here only for time pass. They only concern about your attendance and nothing else. So you have to study on your own and with the help of Previous year Question bank

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

Placement Experience:

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.
