REVIEW OF GARGI'S LIFE

It was my dream to study in Delhi University and I want to pursue MBA for Post graduation, that's why i chose Bachelor of commerce ( honours) from Gargi College, Du. - The course curriculum is designed pretty well , we have presentations , group Discussions as well with real world example thus it helps us in understanding Everything Well and Build us for future. - We have value addition and skills Enhancement course as well that helps in building relevant skills and Values. -however there are some areas that needs to be improved as well , this includes The teaching Methods, some teachers Does not teach Well asn they come in class and Go , Not a single student Understands what has been taught in the class. Some teachers are partial towards Some students and thus They do not Show interest in solving Their doubts . - The exams is quite a peak level stress time , we have Internals going on along with deadlines of assignments , practical files , and Semester exams , It's hectic.

The placement cells Provides Various Internship Opportunities in Different Companies. Including NGOs , such As Pehchaan ( the Street school ) , Webinar , Etc . Most of the Interships are Not stipend Based , but To get Certificates or Lor ( letter of Recommendations ) etc.

The students Are eligible for placement in their last year of graduation. There's is a placement cell in our college which definitely helps students for Internships or Courses . students can Apply for internships , but for the placement, they are eligible only in their graduation. The average Package offered was 5.35 lakhs per annum in 2023 , where as the highest package was approx 21.5 lakhs per annum. The companies visited including DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, KPMG, PwC, Willi Tower, Watson, INshorts, FIs etc. - My plan is to give Cat after Graduation, As i want to pursue Mba .

In first Year the Fee for My course was 15000 But now In 2nd Year , I'm Paying 18k For Bcom. Honours from Du , Gargi. - We paid Yearly Department Fee that was 2k for The commerce Association. - The examination Fee was between 1000-1500 for the Semester Exams. - The Fee For Ba from Gargi College, Du iss Approx 17-18 k as well. - The college Provide Scholarship as well For the Underprivileged Children On basis of Income Certificate and Caste Certificate. It covers The Tuition Fee and other Expenses.

The Fest of Gargi College is Reverie and it is a 3 day fest and many students from other colleges as well Come . - there are many Dance performances , skits , Acts, Concerts in Gargi college during fest season. - the Books in Library college are really old and We can't even enter with our own books so I feel there is no Point in Going to Libraries. - There is Sports Room , Tennis Ground , volley Ball Ground, and students can easily take balls , rackets from the sports room , thus easily accessible for all students. - there are many societies as well , Including the ENLIVEN( The Dance Society). Kshitij ( the dramatics society), Enactus , CDF , Unmukti for women , Lgbtq Society , Avni ( The eco Club ) , TCA etc .

I applied for Delhi University Only. In cuet Exam , When we had to make Preference List , i Ranked Gargi on 7th , where as the college I wanted to study in was Srcc or Hindu , they were like my dream North Campus Du Colleges. The crowd there is amazing, The fest and Events are Such a Vibe . I like the co-ed Environment which is pretty Energetic where as in a women's college the crowd is pretty boring. However I like the course I'm pursuing in Gargi , The Faculty is great . The admission Is based on Cuet Examination, and your score, the higher the score the better college you get. I got 630 /800 in Cuet Examination. And here i got Gargi College .

The faculty in Gargi College are Amazing. They Tries that every student Get to Learn and Participate in the class . The Faculty in gargi is great , With approx 200+ Teachers . The Exams are Semester Based and there are 3 core exams and 4 other extra exams which we need to Give . Thus in Total Each semester, basically 2 Semesters in a year , and we need to give 7-7 exams each semester, along with Internals Tests , Presentations , Assignments as well. It's Pretty Hectic To Handle Everything smoothly.
