Course Curriculum Overview

4

I feel like sustainable energy is something which is one of the most growing sectors of the world right now and we need to understand how important it is for us to go forward sustainably. I chose this because it was a unique subject and opened opportunities for me in many companies. The teaching is going fine and the tests are happening once a month which are usually 20 marks only and last 50 minutes. These tests can be easily cleared by giving a day or two for preparation before the exam.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As a first year student, the college has not provided us with any internships yet but the students here have been offered mentorship offers for the upcoming aspirants in their coachings which have a stipend starting from 1500 per hour

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement and job opportunities provided here are good. There is a mininum of 4 LPA in every branch and the highest package this year went to Microsoft with 3 recruitments worth 51 lacs per annum. The top recruiters were google, microsoft, NVIDIA, Winzo etc. The average placement percentage was 80-90% and the average package was 11 LPA. There is a CGPA based eligibility criteria at about 7.2 CGPA to sit for placements. My personal plans are moving abroad for higher studies like MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly there are two advance payment made during te admission process for mess charges + electricity which is ?40,500 and there is ?32000 which is the outstanding fee after the fee for JOSAA or CSAB is deducted. In the yearly fee which is total of ?2,00,000 out of which ?1250000 is tuition fee per year, ?2500 alumni fee, ?1000 student welfare fee (onetime), ?1600 registration fee (onetime), ?5600 of watch and ward expenses (onetime), ?2400 convocation fee (onetime), ?700 library fee (onetime), ?8600 security deposit (refundable), ?10,000 seat rent fee per year and ?8000 as room rent per year. This is the fee for students with annual family income > 5 lacs. For income between 1-5 lacs, the fees is ?1,00,000 per year For income less than equal to 1 lac, the fees is ?64,000 per year

Campus Life

4

The social life here is great as far as i have experienced. There are multiple clubs for every hobby be it singing, dancing, drama, aeromodelling, social work etc. The sports facilities is the region where are college leads, there are multiple sports like basketball, cricket, football, swimming, badminton, volleyball, athletics etc. and each hostel has also been provided with its own volleyball and badminton courts. The library here is full of books and the best part is students dont need to purchase their course books and the library will issue the books to students for 6 months. There is one main fest called Confluence every year in October while there are two more fests called Utkarsh (Hindi Cultural fest) and InnovShetra (Technical Fest)

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The rooms here for the first year male students are triple sharing while the girls hostel is just single rooms for all the girls. The choosing of roommates is random and done using a lucky draw in the starting. The mess food is average. It is usually a balanced diet including one dal, one sabji, roti and rice. There are also sweet dishes served some days of the week like Kheer and milk is also provided at nights but is chargeable

Admission

I scored 97 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 and got a decent amount of college options to choose from. I chose this course as it was unique, the college had a brand value and it was near to my house which i prefer. I had recieved a confirmed admission from BITS Pilani in Mechanical Engineering but didnt go there as I felt like there is more return on investment in my current college. The average package here goes up to 11.9 lacs per annum which is the same as BITS Pilani Mech. The eligibility criteria here is scoring above 96 percentile in JEE Mains for a general category male.

Faculty

2

There are a lot of course options like VLSI and sustainable energy technologies available here which distinguishes my college from others. But the faculty here is still the same teachers who used to teach the core branches which makes it difficult for better understanding of the topics. The faculty here for the freshers is usually the PhD scholars and they dont have much experience either. There are a few problems in faculty allotment but they do get resolved in a month or so

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
