- Since I was pursuing a job, it became convenient for me to do the evening college as I did both gracefully.
- Faculties were simply dead drop amazing as they helped us and also taught us so well that our basic course looked like we are doing a professional thing.
- Sports facilities were at par with that top of top DU colleges like St Stephens or Hindu college for that matter.
Dislikes
- At evening commuting became tol tough as city traffic and all made it a lot of hustle commuting back home.
Course Curriculum Overview
English Honours is the need of current time as most content that is sold these days is in English. This review too for that matter and hence choosing this course was more like keeping myself with the trend. Exams were same as prescribed by DU, so even though college operated at different hours rhe exams scheduled stayed the same.
Placement Experience
From Flynaut to many content writing firms from NCR started approaching us directly or indirectly. Notice board was full of requirements and after applying getting a job call was so easy. The strength was just 40 in my class and 80% of them had a placement of 30-40k a month which is quite good for a beginner.
Fees and Financial Aid
Delhi University colleges fees are quite lesser and therefore many might be surprised that I just paid 16000 as an yearly fees. So total my education cost was less than 50000. For reserved category students the fees was like 5-7k. Scholaroships and other aisa were easily available in the college as one just have to enquire about that in the admin office.
Campus Life
Small events and that's it as Satyawati isn't that hyped. Sporting facilities were outstanding as we had a cricket pitch, basketball courts, a proper volleyball court and others. In all there were efour buildings at the campus our of which two were lecture buildings, one was admin building and the other one has auditoriums and library of the college.
Admission
A good enough CUET score is required as it is a DU affiliated college after all. Yes first choice for every girl would be LSR but still it didnt bothered me a bit by pursuing English Hons from Satyawati. Yes opportunities lacked and even when we approached directly our college name isn't that popular so probably college can improve this part.
Faculty
Faculties were surreal as we were not just treated well by them but were always greeted with open arms. Evening college students are looked upon differently in other DU colleges but Satyawati. The set of faculties remained the same and so were their teaching methods.
