The college is a semi-government and comes under Punjab university so the fees are reasonable and are of the same amount as of government colleges of Chandigarh. It also comes under dav community so the fee structure is not more than 25000 annually.

The college has a very good sports club also and it is the only college of Chandigarh offering a variety of sports and unique rock climbing. There are chemistry, physics, zoology, botany, microbial and food tech labs, psychology labs. It also offers to add on courses like interior designing, communicative English, French, event management courses for you to pursue side by side with your studies.

The hostel is just 5 minutes from the college. It has 6 blocks. A single room is given to 2 students. The room included 2 beds, 2 study table, separate almirah, and bookshelves. Each and every room has a balcony. Rooms are quite airy and open. Food is of high quality. The college is given the title of the most neat and clean college in whole of India so can judge the quality of food it offers. The college allows girls to be out till 6 pm and attendance is taken 3 times a day in hostel.i will rate 4.5/5 for the hostel.

Seniors or super seniors are very friendly and helpful. They help a lot in explaining things, providing notes, emotionally and mentally. The best thing about the college is their mentorship program which motivated students to discuss every problem with concerned teachers or seniors.

The exam pattern is same as that of Punjab University and is also set by Punjab University. Semester question papers are made by the university itself and are also checked there. It is important to pass in all subjects at least 40% marks.

They are very friendly, interacting and helpful. 99% of teachers are females as it is a girls college. The only office, lab attendants and workers include male staff so it is easy for girls to interact with their teachers and discuss their problems.
