Honest review on L.S. Raheja College Of Arts & Commerce Mumbai

I didn't apply to any other college since I was too late for applying for the degree college (due to personal reasons). I directly got admission in this college on the basis of my 12th percentage and they compared it with the merit percentage they had for the admissions for every different department as I personally talked to one of the HODs.

The faculty of this college has decided to choose the relevant subject topics that would help in Masters courses. Personally I don't like the exam timetable of this college, they don't give Study leaves in between each papers and decides to take every paper one after the other without any holidays in between. (Except Sundays or public holidays)

I have not done any internship in any companies. Even though the college has provided us with many internship/job opportunities, that too every year. The people from placement cell department comes every year in our college and takes interviews and we have plenty of options to choose for the area/department we want to do internship in.

Fees for First year for Bachelor of Arts - Rs 6231 Fees for Second year for Bachelor of Arts - Rs 6175 Fees for Third year for Bachelor of Arts [Economics] - Rs 8761 (Inclusive of all other compulsory charges during the course completion) Well, (until 2024 when our college became an Autonomous college) courses such as Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of commerce are included under Aided section so their fees is comparatively less than other courses such as BMS, BFM, BAF, BSCIT, BBI, BAMMC, since these comes under unaided section. Overall the college takes strict actions against sensitive topics such as ragging or harassment. The crowd of the college includes students from low class areas to high class areas both. Canteen food is a waste of money instead there are fast food stalls outside the college such as Frankie, sandwich, fries, momos, burger, pizza, etc. Cultural committee does a good work by organising fun activities such as talent hunt, raheja week, garba day, Marathi diwas, etc.

The campus life is nice and focusing on the social aspects it is also kind of good and gradually everyone becomes out going and takes part in the annual festivals. Some of the renowned festivals of our college are Parallax, Retake, Unmesh, Khwaab, etc.

There are minimum 2 professors for each subject to teach. (Head Of Department and Assistant Professor) The teaching is good and the facility clears the doubts of the students and takes remedial classes too for the students who fail to Clear the exams.
