Likes

Differentiated buildings amd infrastructure for different course. Everything was properly managed and all of our problems were heard amd we were made sure that our problems would be sorted out on priority basis.
They have several scholarship and freeship schemes which helps all caste and cultures.
Election period of delhi University is something to flaunt about

Dislikes

The infrastructure should develop more in the departments. Several amazing facilities are available but aren't working properly
Washrooms aren't always cleaned properly. Not much of a hassle for men . But a deal breaker for women
Many instances of discrimination towards our bothers and sisters from eastern india. It pains me a lot but it is what it is

Course Curriculum Overview

BCOM H is not a self sufficient course it is usually opted by CA aspirants. MBA and MCOM are the couses mainly opted after completing BCOM H . BCOM is not a job oriented course its a stepping stone for your future endeavors thus i want a restructure in the teaching and curriculum so that bcom becomes a self sufficient course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 7080 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly college fees was 7080 rs . Course span was 3 years . So 7080x3 = 21240. And exam fees was 2000 per year. I was from covid batch so 2nd yr exam fees was exempted. Totalling my exam fees to 4000. So my total course fees amounted to 25240. Which i consider as very affirdable. I am from unreserved category.

Campus Life

My entire college life went during covid so i could not experience much of college life. But i wemt college flr 4 months during my final year. And those were the days . We used to study for hours in our beautiful library. Amd the best part was our teachers were more than happy to help us with our doubts.

Admission

I wanted BCOM H to get grassroots knowledge about businesses and companies. Everyone wants the top schools for themselves. But not everyone gets them. I am another such story. I wanted to join DU as of its low fee structure amd good environment. I first joined satyawati college. Then shyam lal college evening and then to MOTILAL NEHRU COLLEGE EVENING

Faculty

The faculty members are highly qualified professionals with some having PhD's, UGC NET cleared Assistant Professors and me being from commerce background enjoyed their knowledge . I liked talking to science Field teachers . Their grasp of knowledge truly amazed me and i could say the same about my BCOM teachers. I use to hate accountancy but the way they explained the topics. The twisted tails felt like a straight road on a bright day. Naming teachers i liked would lower the honor i have for others. But mamta mam really helped me a lot

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

A decent truthful facts.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills.Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first,earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college

I applied to almost all colleges that offered bcom/bcom hons in Delhi University and was selected into SPMC for bcom but I gave up on that seat and instead chose MLNCE because firstly it is an on campus renowned college and also it is a Co-ed college . It is the best college I could get with my CUET score and I am satisfied. Also the fees is very affordable. I did get very close to getting into Dyal Singh College but my score wasn't enough to get into. The admission process is firstly to clear cuet and according to your score you have to submit a preference sheet and then accordingly you will be alloted colleges in any round (1,2,3 or mop)....Read More

Motilal Nehru College Evening Insights!

Earlier in csas I got Sri Aurobindo College Evening but I upgraded and got Motilal Nehru College Evening. Although Sri Aurobindo College is also not bad but it is the off campus college and the crowd is not as good as motilal nehru and also the level of education.
