Review of college and campus life

The overall college is good. Only two areas they require improvement as I mentioned above one is the internship opportunities and the food taste. Apart from this I would say it is worth to be said as one the top private universities of India.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum is wide and consists of all the important subjects required for industrial works. The subjects also cover wide range of multidisciplinary topics. The practical courses are also good.

The college is not helpful in giving internships to the core branches. The only provide internships for it sectors. This is the only part of the college where I think they have to improve. They have made internships compulsory but they should try to give more opportunities.

The placements and job opportunities are very good. The placements records every year is around 80%-90%. The average package is around 5 lacs. There are many good core and it companies coming to the campus for placement.

There are two main college fests held in college one is AARUSH the techo management fest held every year during the odd semester which had many technical games ,workshops and models. The second is the cultural fest MILAN where many dances performances , dramatics and other events are held.

The fee structure here is a lil bit expensive. The hostel service is somewhat more expensive. The tution fee is fine and if you are good in academics and other aspects they also offer scholarships then you can manage with this.

There are many good scholarships offered by the institute to the students. There is also special sports quota. There are scholarships such as merit based scholarships to the top ten toppers of every branch moreover during admission top 10000 rankers students get scholarships and those who have PCM aggregate 95% and above also get some scholarships.

There is a lot of scope of extra curricular activities in the college. There are different labs in the institute. Moreover there are many different groups running in the college handling different national and international level projects.

The hostel infrastructure is good and the facilities are fine but the main problem is with the food. The food taste is not that good. The condition of hostel rooms is not that good as it is old so this is also one of the factors where the institute wants improvement.

The alumni network of the institute is very strong as they have a alumni network established in the campus. You can get information about different alumnis and talk to them and they are very helpful in guidance.

The exam schedule here is very hectic. They are 3 cycle tests help every consecutive month after collegr opens for every semester and one model practical exam. After this there is university practicals and finally semester exams.

The steps are: 1. Filled form in december. 2. Got the hall ticket number in feb. 3. The exam was online based test held in mid april. 4. Result was announced in first week of may. 5. Counselling based on ranks in mid may with some part of fee to be submitted. 6. Seat confirmation by first week of june by paying rest part of fee and then hostel booking. 7. Enrollment in college by mid july.

The faculties are good as they are very helpful for discussion of problems and different topics. Apart from this they also help us in different projects and also guide us through our course. The teachers are the best part of the institute.
