Balancing excellence and affordability, a review of my college NIT kurukshetra

I mean, i cant say, ive just started the college a momth ago and its alright, the course could have been more relevant and relatable to the present, but yeah, so its gonna be a 6/10, the college is still improving and i hope theyll add new things to the course

The internships opportunities have been limited by the director just a few months back for some reason, i think that the college opportunities can now only be availed in the 4th year, but i think this would change with the change of director of the college and the internships are really important

The placements from the last 2 years arent being that good but overall the placements here are outstanding, 20 lpa for cse branch isnt a joke, the highest package sometimes goes upto to 1 cr too! Big companies like google microsoft come here

My college is one the most reputated indian engineering college and it provides with loads of facilities for everything, i still believe the college can work upon a lot of things because im not that satisfied with the college life, the fests and everything are boring here, tho the fees here is just 12 lakh for the whole degree for a normal student and 4-5 lakh for a student having family income less than 5 lakh per annum, id rate it an 8/10 for return of investment basis

Im not that impressed with the college life in this college for real! It could have been a lot better! The girls and guys cant socialise together here, there are loads of limits on the interaction and the food here isnt good either, the social life also could have been better and i believe the college life could be improved to a lot more extent

The hostel facilities are just average, they arent thay good not that bad! We are being struck in a single room with 2 people, we cant even fit in two tables in this room, the. Bathrooms arent also that good and yeah

The process for the admission was through josaa counseling, i scored a solid 99.43 percentile in my jee mains, and i preferred this college over others due to the proximity of it for me and also this college has a nice placement for CSE and i was really looking forward to be here

The faculty members are decent, i wont say they are too good or they are too bad, some faculties teaches ur really well and some are extremely bad! Overall i believe that in college the self study is the foremost important so yeah, doesnt matter
