Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course, a Bachelors in forensic science is not an ordinary course which you find in all the colleges it is very premium and found only in a few collges! As per my research jain university is one of the best in this category at an affordable fee range

Fees and Financial Aid

Initially the college would charge 190000 170000 as tution fee and the other 20000 as admission fee And for the rest of the years the standard tution fee of 170000 is applied. There are a lot of chances for candidates applicable for reservation to .gain particular scholarships and other methods

Campus Life

4.5

Jain University, apart from quality education also has a great cultural diversity and has various forums like Language clubs, student councils, department forums, NCC, NSS, etc., It provides a great opportunity to participate in any events etc

Admission

The reason for me opting out Jain University is simply its brand value. It is a very prestigious institution and even the admission process is simple, you apply online at their website and then they will book a slot for an online interview where the faculty would be asking questions and then if you are selected a mail confirming your selection appears and there you go!

Faculty

Jain University has a great faculty that I can say very proudly! Most of the faculty are very knowledgeable and has done wonders in their feild with great experience. The interaction between faculty and students is also really good

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
