Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum for the most part is amazing. We are given freedom to choose topics. We are given the autonomy to do our own research. The professors are helpful in that regard where are some professors do not teach by the curriculum, but they teach a knowledge which is refreshing and the exams are conducted, one mid and one end sem every

Internships Opportunities

3

There are several internship opportunities available at our college at different law firms like Saraf And Partners or Shardul Amarchand and Mangaldas SAM Delhi. and these are very regular, so this part is also decent enough

Placement Experience

2

The placement system isn't great. They have tried to get some students placed in the last five years and every batch has barely 5 to 10 placements out of 120 students. Yes, some companies do come, but they're very biased towards the people who are top three top five in the class and they don't really care about the other 100 people who want to get placed so you have to Get a job on your own

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee per semester is around 1.5 Lakh to 1.7 Lakh. The hostel and mess fee is 20 thousand per semester. There is scholarships available for SCs and STs but they are very minimal. There are fines which are exhorbidant. Also the exam rechecking fees is a lot. 1500 rupees per recheck

Campus Life

4

The campus. Life is great. There is a lot of freedom as students were allowed to do a lot of things that might be restricted. In other colleges. We have that freedom and administrative structure is in a way that students are allowed to flourish in their own way, students organise special events we have regularly. There are functions that part is alright

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities is fantastic. That is one part where I don't have any complaints. We have AC hostels. The hostels are clean and cleaned every two days. The washroom are kept clean, but there is no doubt that this is the best Hostel you can ever get

Admission

This college was allotted to me based out of my CLAT rank and I got into a couple of other colleges, but this appear to be the best option to me according to my rank and what I was getting, and it was closer to my home.

Faculty

3.5

There are 120-140 students in each batch. The batch is divided into 3 sections usually and the classrooms are apt to handle that. The professors are decent. Some are fantastic while some don't know what they're doing. Lakhwinder sir is great

Around 60% students only gets direct placements from our college as ratio I hope gets better because as a top tier NLU i still feel the placements are still not that great. I hope that by the time our time comes ratio is 100% because after the judgement of 3 years practice for judiciary, I think it is inevitable to have a job.

Khaitan & Co., Maheshwari and Co and likewise many such companies came for placements as it's the law firm that provides us placements and give good salary like 50-70k in general. However, internships matters a lot as most students performance at their internships are reviewed thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is highly affordable with not much hike in the fees over the past years. It is quite near to my house and within the city. The college provides hostel facilities and bus pass to students travelling from far The course makes you legal literate and aware of the legal world . With 15-20days of internship in district court in last 2 years of the college it shows the reality of the court life. No placement- The college should provide information along with opportunities of placements. The campus being quite small - Teacher easily focuses on each student . Semester system- The university conducts exams every 6months yhat are quite easy to clear.
