Likes

Yes some aspects that needs to improve is hostel facilities.
The interaction between students and campus is very nice

Course Curriculum Overview

According to us the improvements in university were not required and the talking about the timing of the exams is depend upon the what amount of course is coming and tere were many exams that were held in the university

Class Size: 7Course Fees: INR 13600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Full year of BE CSE course is 13600 and you have to give a CUCET test for getting addmission and To take a scholarship, according to scholarship your fees should be deducted and if you are belong to SC,ST caste you have some discount from the course fees.

Campus Life

The range of accessibility of books were provided very well and having the library in each academic block according to the course the books are available. The sports and the extracurricular activities is very well defined Offered by the university

No I was not apply in any college because I decided that I only take the addmission in chandigarh university because my elder brother is also pursuing BE CSE from this university only that's why I decided the addmission in this university

Faculty

The relationship between students and faculties is very good and the faculty is understandable according to the students situation. The faculty I like is maths and physics her name is Neha mam and nandini mam they teaches us brilliant and clear the every concept and they both are very good in nature also

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
