Course Curriculum Overview

The course contains a ton of real life examples. Apart from lectures we also have tutorial classes where we are taught how to deal with such problems. In the lab we get to work on real projects and it helps us understand the concept much better than in just theory.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The turion fee for a semester is 2,45,000 with a 5% increase every year. Summer term is for 81,000. Admission fee is 50,900. Hostel fee is 22,900 and mess and electrtricity advance is 10,000. Students can avail Merit cum need scholarship which gives upto 90% off on tution fee for too 1% students.

Campus Life

We have been provided with ample space in the student activity centre to conduct ang sports activities or club meetings or performances and workshops. The classrooms are equipped with ac and boards and even a digital screen controlled with a computer, the lectures are recorded so that students can watch them if they miss one.

Admission

I gave JEE for admission in IITS, failing to secure a good branch in the top IITS, I sought the next best option which was BITS. The exam for admission in BITS is BITSAT which is similar to JEE mains in its format, but has english and oogical reasoning as additional subjects.

Faculty

The faculty is very approachable, we have separate office hours where we can talk to them about the course or any questions we have in general. The exam pattern includes exit tests for attendance, quizes, mid semester exams and comprehensive exams

Very few students get placed every year. The highest package is 380000, and the average package is 450000. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. My plans are going to foreign for further education.

Remarks:

State of art campus and well experienced faculty with good placements. Our college gives us the opportunity of learning almost everything you like be it finance,be it Graphic design you can bey much attend whichever class you want. most importantly there is no attendence and the lectures are recorded.

Remarks:

The college is very great in infrastructure but it could be even better in management and in teaching some of the faculty is not even fit for teaching they should be changed and some professional should be alloted for that subject

Why BITS Pilani is magic!

I applied to most tier 2 IITs. The reason I chose this college was the flexible curriculum they have. 0% attendance policy along with the flexibility of making your own time table makes it easier for students to find their own interests and excel in them. BITSAT is the way to get into BITS, unless you are a stateboard topper. The cutoff is around 230/360 marks. The exam level is near to JEE Mains. BITS Pilani has a name for itself not just in India but outside it as well. It has a very widespread alumni network, all of whom are very helpful. Since I started my jee preparations, BITS Pilani was the only college I was eager to get in to. Other colleges at its level (my friends study in, I get to know about these things from them) lack infrastructure and resources. The college administration doesn't focus on students. Application process is similar to Jossa. Application fees is on higher end(approx 5000 for both attempts) and then registration fees is also around 50000. Difficulty level of bitsat is a bit lower than jee mains. Syllabus coverage is the key to Ace it....Read More

BITS Pilani - Experience the magic yourself

The admission is offered on basis of BITSAT score and you must have 75 percent plus in all 3 of maths , physics and chemistry in 12th board exams. Application form can be found on bits admission website and admission fee is 5500 for both sessions. There are no reservation benefits. Exams are held twice an year and of 390 marks.
