Likes

The intersection of Faculty members quit good. the faculty helps in acadmic to improve our skills.
The infrastructue of our college is very good.
The class room is fully air conditioner so you don't fee humid or hot.

Dislikes

there is very less unexpirenced teacher, in our collge
When its rain, entire college get flooded in it
the parking in our college is not to good to park 2-weeler

Course Curriculum Overview

in our BE course in one semester there are around 30 Credit . each subject hold some credit. it helps to solve real problem in day to day life. i don't think so there is any improvement in course and teaching method, one improvement that i will suggest college have smart board.

Placement of our college is very good there are around 800+ offer in this year. in 5th sem student eligble for college placement. microsoft, gtg,tcs,infosys,Josh tect, accenture, turbo hire, state streeet and more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee structure includes tution, admission, registration, developmment, lab fee, and extra charges, with a slight yearly increment 10%.For general category, the tution fee is Rs 120000 for BE-CSE and college provide scolorship of around 50%. for elegible your JEE Score is about 90% than you get 50% scolarship in tution fee.and other than you give CUCET exam on this basic you get 10%,20%,30%,50%.

Campus Life

There are several fest Like CU fest for freshers and one more in even sem too, and ther is event for each festival be it on small or large scale. They organise mob flash time to time to showcase the talent they nutrure.

Admission

because cu has around 8000+ offer in this year. there is no any comparision of my college beacuse cu is no 1 college in north india.no i could rejection from other college becuase i event applied other collge.

Faculty

The Faculty to student relation is very good. pooja bharti is our best teacher. none of any teacher i don't like, all the faculties is very good. in one semester there is 2 mst and one est in our acadmic.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
