Likes
- The availability of lift to all students. Lift in our college is not only for teachers but also for students as it is a good point. For students like who are disable its a favorable method
- Our college is girls college. And teachers are very supportive. There are many teachers in our college who are just like friends and the teaching method of them is also appreciative. They interact with us and do the best to make our doubts away
- There are facilities in our college and some of them are really appreciative. Like the facility of canteen. The food of our colllege is good and hygenic. Rooms are clean. Washrooms are also cleaned regularly.
Dislikes
- Water facility is not soo good in our college. The taste of the water is not good as it tastes little strange maybe cause of chlorine. Also the availability of cold water is needed to be improved.
- Many infrastructure is needed to be improved such as table chairs etc. Many benches of our college are broken and its difficult to adjust also the availability of classrooms. For our extra subjects or for our tuts sometime we dont get the classes.
- No wifi in college. Network issues in college. When we reach college we need to inform our parents but because of network issues its really hard to reach them. And there is no net facility in our college which is also a major problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly it was not my first preference. I got philosophy hons. by chance. But i dont regret as it is a very good and informative subject. I got to learn new and different things. The teachers of philosophy department are very good and their teaching method is really appreciative. They made study really easy and we got to understanding everything. There is good scope in this field not only in india but also in other country. And obe by doing phd in this field can become professors which is really good field.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college fess which im currently paying is 28600. The fee structure of our is quiet high. When i was in first year my college fees was 32000 something but this year it decreased. Many students of our college were against the fee structure of the college and also protested but it was not considered. All the students of my class have paid the same fees irrespective of category. Scholarships are also provided in our college but to small amount of students and its quiet hard and hectic process and the children should have patience to complete it. The main problem is the hike of fees in our college honestly. In accordance of facilities it too high otherwise its good.
Campus Life
The college life is good. There are many functions which helds in our college. Our annual fest is Manjari which helds once in a year. For that fest a celebrity singer is invited in our college which is quiet fun. There are many books which are available in our college. Our library contains helpful and informative books. There is wi fi faculty in our library and a huge place to sit. The sports faculties are not so good in our college. Less games and sports are available in our college.
Admission
In my first round of college allocation i got indraprastha college du but i upgraded that college as i wanted i different course but by upgrading also i got thw same course so i have to accept this college and college. Currently im in daulat ram college but i have applied to many other colleges but because of my preference list and marks i was unable to get those colleges. The admission process is according to marks and category nothing else. CUET marks are preferred here.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is good. They are supportive and listen our problems. The also try to solve it. The teachers and other staff are really good. There are total 7 exams 3 main core subjects. 1 Generic Elective(GE) 1 Value Added Course(VAC) 1 Skill Enhancement Course*(SEC) and 1 Ability Enhancement Course(AEC). The exams are not soo hard as it is designed in such a way that everyone can do it. Its not hard to pass an exam. It can be passed without any difficulties.
