Likes

The campus is green and beautiful. there are peacocks in the campus.
the overall academics is good. teachers are good and educated.Most of the teachers are cooperative.
We are provided with internship opportunities for every year student form college itself. We are taken to industrial visits atleast once per semester.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not well equiped. Teachers dont use smart board that creates problem for students for notes during time of examination.
As there are less no. of students it is boon and bann at the same time . We dont get to experience the actual competetion .
the fest are very poor . even schools annual function is better than fests of aur college.

The coarse curriculum is vast for ece. we are having hell lots of classses from morning to evening not letting us to learn extra skills . Overall its very pressurising and hectic schedule over here at gati shakti vishwavidalaya . The curriculums helps to get me a job in core electronics and communication engineering department.

here all the students are provided internship opportunity per year based on cgpa if limited opportunity. but in most cases all ethe studensts get inetrnship opportunity. internship in railways , psus as well as private sector is also given.

being the new college and cosidering the recession the placements here are not good as of now but definately it will be good in upcoming years. as of m=now the average package is 5 lakhs and the minimum package can go as low as 2 lakhs per annum.

overall the experience is not good. the campus lacks of life. many times i feel lonely as tehre are very few students and it is very difficult to find people whom you can actually vibe with. otherwaise it is beautiful for people in relationship.

hostel facilities here is the best thing you can experience in gati shakti vishwavidalaya. it is well equiped with all the facilities including ac sufficient lligts clean water etc. we are also provided with lifts and personal washroom attached in every room.

this is a goverment college . this is the forst university under the ministry of railways focused on transportation and logistics. today the logistics sector is growing rapidly. and as a developing nation we need a strong network of logistics and transportation.

there is total of 100 marks per subject . internal marks 25 mid term 25 end term 50 student is required to get 40 marks in total as well as 12 marks in end term to pass a subject. if in any case student fails to score 40 marks or 12 resp. he or she has to appear in supplementay examination and if the student scores 40 marks there they pass. if the student fails even in supplementary exam then they have to repeat the coarse. the faculty to student ratio 1:25.

Placement Experience:

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.

Some of the factors because of which I choose this college over other are :- this college is in my state itself and is the one and only college in the whole country which is for railways and is also a GFTI and the college funds are given by the government, the college campus is amazing and have a palace inside the campus along with a swimming pool , the mess food is amazing and have a wide variety of food every day in the week. The admission process of this college is quite simple, their is no any seperate exam to get into this college. According to the percentile of jee mains examination one can fill up the form for admission through JOSSA, and you will get the admission if your percentile is enough to get into the college.
