Remarks
The positive is more. The College provides mode facilities like college bus in a small fare and has buses to nearby places. The college has a good library. The college canteen is also nice and has affordable prices. The negative I felt is my department is in the hilltop. The buses no go there . So all the students have to climb the hill .they will not permit students vehicles.

Course Curriculum Overview
It will be nice. I am a lateral entry student soi have only 2-year course. So the regular students have 3 years. I have cs degree so that I got lateral entry. The curriculum is nice and especially my university is ktu .so the syllabus is updated and also the result has come faster than other universities.
Internships Opportunities
No. They will be informed whether a company needs an intern. So that they will inform all the students through the placement cell. Various companies like tcs, Wipro are selected our college students for internship.
Placement Experience
The placement is nice and the placement cell is more supportive for the students .they will give aptitude training also .they will contact companies and conduct recruitment and almost all the students are placed.
College Events
The college is engineering college so that so many branches are here and also mtech, mca .so that several events are conducted here. In 2018 the college union conducted RITU 2k18. It is a great program and has several events. It also has technical fest and cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
First of all the Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology,kottayam is a govt College and the college is fully ruled directly by government. So that fees are feasible. The fees is less than that of a private college .
Fees and Financial Aid
The RIT college is a govt college .so that the students who studied their all have eligible for the e grants scholarship that provides by govt. The clg fees get back through that scholarship. There are many other scholarships provided according to caste reservation, military etc . The college also provides loan facility
Campus Life
The college is very supportive for the extracurricular activities. The college union and Various department conduct several sports activities in a year. The College selects students and sends them for university competitions.
Hostel Facilities
The college has hostel facility .but there are so many students studied here, So that lack of room. Many students are staying outside the college. The new hostel is building near the old men hostel. This year will have inauguration. The hostel is nice and the rate is less.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni students are very supportive in the campus placement cell .if the alumni working companies have any vacancies they will inform and the placement cell sends students for interview. The alumni body is more strong in RIT.
Exam Structure
The university is APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. So that university came to power in 2016. The university provides updated syllabus and also the results publishing is very fastly. So the exam also conducted very fastly.
Admission
First, i wrote mca lateral entry entrance and the rank list was published according to the mark. Then allotment is done and I preferred RIT college. In 1st allotment, i got admission in a college at Kollam .2nd allotment i got admission at RIT Kottayam
Faculty
The faculty of the college is nice. They are more supportive and also more friendly. The college has guest lecturers also. So that our teachers are mostly guest lecturer. There are also professors.
