Computer science is very authentic course and the curriculum too includes major core subjects like database management system, object oriented programming, computer networks Computer organisation and architecture. Every course subject has the practical implementation of the topics through practicals. Teaching method can be made more intuitive and interactive. Exams are easy to score good marks.

Various bigtech companies visit our college and offer roles such as Software Developer intern, technology analyst intern, Product intern, data analyst intern etc and pay competitive stipend depending upon the company's budget and current market status.

5th semester students are eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for placements( full time offers) Many bigtech companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Salesforce, Intuit etc visit our campus and hiring rate is not that bad, depends upon the company's budget and students' calibre. Average package of our college varies between 13 lakhs to 19 lakhs and most of the companies come for software developer roles. Didn't planned yet

IGDTUW annual cultural fest named Taaranagana happens around Feb/March every year. Technical fest named Innerve happens usually around October. Library contains the course curriculum books but not every book it contains. It has limited stock and not very side variety and genre of books are there. Not every classroom are well ventilated and aur conditioned. Only limited classrooms have access to projectors and smart board. Our sport society ignite cultivates sport culture within the students but again it's not very competitive. IGDTUW has various clubs and societies for the holistic development of the students. So the social life is not that bad here.

I applied to all the colleges listed in JAC Delhi admission process. I was getting EEE branch in DTU, NSUT but I chose IGDTUW CSE over others due to branch preference and distance from my home. Also the placement stats is at par amongst these colleges. One has to give JEE mains examination to be eligible for admission. The admission happens through JAC Delhi counseling based on the filled preference and cutoff.

The faculties are highly qualified and experienced. Most of them are approachable and nice to students. I couldn't list all the names but the top three coming in my mind are karuna kaidan, vivekananda jha and Arunima jaiswal. They are very lineant and teaches well. There are two exams- mid semester and end semester examination every semester. Exams are not difficult at all and almost no student fails in the exams. Not all the course subjects like environment studies, chemistry etc are relevant to students.
