Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Courses are relevant to real life examples, like it teaches most of the real life examples, but there are repetition of various topics in some of the courses. Apart form that there are some courses which are not been able to complete due to less time allotted to that various topic. For subjects like taxation it prepares us for real world examples like we should know about our rights and everything, but it requires lots of time, in such case the course plan needs to provide more time to that particular subject.

Internships Opportunities

3

There were internship opportunities given by college was Zomato and it was given for 6-8 weeks and there were various companies. Other than that the college put all the second years to compulsorily work for 6-8 weeks in some company of your choice, basically the outcome was to get the practical and real-life experience of the industry overall.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 3rd years, which is students get eligible from 5th semester for campus placements. Companies visit starts in 5th semester ususally. Companies like tresvista, Urban Company, De Shaw,Bain, Everest, ICICI Bank. Highest Package is given by De Shaw which is 22lakhs p.a and this time they took around 16-17 this year. After that bain gives around 14 lakh per annum. Average package is around 5-6 lakhs

Campus Life

3

There are various fests like Vistas, Thrive, Blossoms, Esprit . These fests are basically business fests and blossoms are extra-curricular fest and it provides a good competive experience. Libraries inclue various like all type of accessible materials such as; research papers are also published and other than that most of the books are accessible online. There are various clubs like Centre for Social Action (CSA), Centre for Climate Action (CCA), Student Welfare Association(SWO) and other than that various co corricular like Zealous Productions, Adhoc Productions.

Admission

Basically i have applied for various colleges like Delhi University, NMIMS,Mumbai, St.Xaviers Mumbai, SYMBOISIS Pune, reason of all the colleges was mostly not getting the first perfeence, i wanted wheter would be the course or the campus, thus these were the reasons. And other than that out of these colleges christ university takes exams at the time of preparing for the board, so students are usually prepared and it is the first one to take entrances also, which provides the confidence and also if you are selected makes you think that you have already been selected, what else do you need.

Faculty

3

FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO WOULD BE AROUND 50:1. Some faculties are approachable very usually but mostly are done through gmail and at the perfect time. And they usually reply to the mails, so teachrs are usually approachable. Faculties like: Prof. Issac, Mudita Sinha, Rajesh R, Kiran Vazirani are very nice and approachable thats why i like them because they are approachable and provide real lifr exampez too. Basically the exams are divided into four parts usually known as Continuous Internal Assessments. CIA-1( Assignment Based)- Carries 20 marks CIA-2 (Exams Based/ Mid Semester)- It happens for 50 marks later it is converted into 25 marks. CIA-3 (Assignment Based)- It also carries 20 marks. CIA-4 (End sems)- It is an examination paper it also happens for 50 marks and it is later converted into 30 marks. Attendance also carries 5 marks. Most of the students usually pass the exam if not they have to pay 500?/subject if they fail to pass end sems. And if they fail to pass CIAs-?10k.

Interview Experience

3

There were written tests and interviews at the time of examination. Written tests included questions of all the courses susch as accounts based, reasoning based, it included various questions from science too, which was basic level questions. After you are done with the written tests, then interview, i reffered to a youtube of the person who has alre gotten into christ he said questions would be basic and answer accordingly and just say truth. Questions were baisc only and i was able to answer the questions.

The infrastructure is not the best, but its an old College, so its expected to be old and weak. Rules and regulations should be a little bit more feasible, otherwise. its a great College with a great history.
