- First of all I like the affordablity of this course , as it is very high for non government college but it is very very cheap for government
- Our college has a boy: girls ratio of 3:2 which is quite good
- The best part is the social respect that we get..yes, we have burden of responsibility but the respect is very pleasant
Dislikes
- Our college is new , so the instrument and infrastructure is not fully completed
- This course is very hectic.. it's carries a lot of mental pressure
- Placement is given by government, but currently last 3 years there is no placements, so it's a big concern
Course Curriculum Overview
I joined it because it is most safe course for career and also respective..the communication with real world is very high..the placement structure should improve and number of doctors should increase.. difficulty level should maintain to maintain the quality of students entering
Internships Opportunities
As it is a government college so the placements directly come from government not from college.. placement rate is usually high but currently there is no placements since 3 years , so it's a concer otherwise it's decent
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a government medical college of west Bengal, the year wise fees is quite low and affordable ..and even the hostel rent is negligible, although we have to pay for the meal but it is also very affordable..and there is no difference of fees structure for categories..but for management quota in non government college is too high...there are certain government and non government scholarships which give fair amounts but it is not applicable for everyone
Campus Life
The Library is quite big and availability is good..as it's a new college so didn't have any festival yearly yet.. sports infrastructure structure is poor.. social group are good , we have social media accounts to promote college
Hostel Facilities
The rent is nearly free of cost.. although we have to pay for the meal , but that come in affordable price also, like with monthly 4k you could get very good meal and rooms are also very good and the hostel accommodation is very good
Admission
Basically our admission is based on the rank we secured from NEET (UG) .. we participate in councelling procedure, we get colleges according to the rank secured and our choice filing of college.. actually I got this college as my last option, so it's not by choice
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is poor.. because they are not recruiting professor so the number is low..my favourite faculty name is Tanmoy Kar of anatomy, as he used to love to teach students as we want to learn and others just want to teach a s the way they know not our way
