1st of all the best thing is affordability.
2nd being part of Delhi University is it a great achievement
Have an access to numerous of cells and clubs which will help you to grow.

Dislikes

The management was not upto the mark as it should be.
Just limited tohl the books no practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

My concern is that the teachers did not even try toh gave us some practical knowledge about the course or the subjects which is essential. Not even a single case study is being discussed among the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year fees increases but it is affordable to each and every one. At my time it is arround 13,500 each year. Maximum fees will not exceed 20000/yr .The feed varies from reserved category to unreserved .You can have access to different scholarships too.

Campus Life

Prabha is one the main fest of the college that is held once a year and one fest of enactus club is also held at good level. No technological provisions is in the class apart from an old projector. Yes various clubs and cells are being operated by the students.

Admission

I wanted to persuade bms and at that time admission is based on merit basis but for some certain courses you need to give dujat, which i gave but not got selected. After that on merit basis i took admission in Vivekananda College in Bcom honors.

Faculty

Some teachers are good and ready to help out the students. The new appointment teachers are the best , they guide and help the students whenever they need. There is a semester system in which 2 exams are held in a year. And it depend upon the students how they perform it.

LIFE AS A DU SOL STUDENT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Placement Experience:

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks. In 1st and 2nd round i doesn't get bcom. And in 3rd round i got SSNC with bcom but college disappointe me very much.
