Review of Guru Jambheshwaar University

The course curriculum is relevantly classification into units and modules according to the guidelines and syllabus but the curriculum lacks to include recent and advanced topics and is quite old fashioned.

Companies offer pre placement internships to students who appear for the placement drive and get selected, other than that there aren't many opportunities for students to apply for internship. A few trainings were held like courses on the technologies etc.

Students are eligibility to appear for placements since the end of sixth semester and MNCs like tcs, cognizant and others come for campus placement. For my batch the highest package was 13LPA. And the average package was around 4-5 LPA.

Admission fees total summed upto 40 thousand rupees which included tution fees, development fees, lab fees, and other charges. Apart from that hostel charges were 10 thousand rupees excluding mess bill.

Cultural events like youth fest and other functions for festivals were also held such as Holi celebration and Diwali carnival. Flower festival was held every spring, etc, there were several music, dance, and debate clubs etc.

A single hostel room accompanied 2 students but it differs from hostel to hostel as there were 4 girls and 4 boys hostel. The room came with cupboard, one bed for each student and one study table and one chair for each room.

I applied to other colleges like DTU, NSUT and IPU but could not get a seat so I applied for haryana state councelling and got a seat in this college based on my JEE Maine score and went for admission because of the course of interest.

Faculty to students ratio is nearly 1:50 but they lack corporation when it comes to students reaching out to ask for help or guidance. Total of 2 minor examinations were conducted every semester and one end semester exam with practicals.
