- The faculty is really good. They are all well qualified and the college definitely doesn't compromise when it comes to academics.

- The campus is way too small for any extracurricular activities to be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview
I've always liked psychology since the day i took the subject in class 11-12. I was very determined to persue psychology in my graduation as well as masters. The curriculum convinced me more to study this subject and know more about it. The curriculum involves all the aspects including it's applications in the real world. I personally don't think they should make much changes to the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Our college do give internships. However I'm not much aware of it since I'm currently in my first year but I've heard that they do provide good internships including paid internships. But they do not offer placements for our course i.e. psychology.
Fees and Financial Aid
This year I paid 10,800 including all kinda of additional fees. Next year I have to pay 10,800 again around July. It's a 4 years honours course. Hence the total course fee is 10,800×4= 43,200 rupees. No hostel fees needed since I travel from home. No scholarship availed as well.
Campus Life
They do not have a huge campus so it becomes really difficult to talk much about it when it comes to stuff other than academics but they do have a few clubs including the literary club, cultural club etc. They have a huge library so availablity of books is not at all a problem here.
Admission
I applied to quite a few colleges in west bengal but Gokhale was my first preference and once I got in here, i decided to stay here and persue my graduation from this college itself. Another reason for choosing this college is that they have one of the best psychology departments in west bengal. No, i didn't get rejected from the other colleges. The admission is generally based on merit. It depends on how well you performed in your class 12 board exams. The better you perform, the more chances you have to get into this college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration is worth appreciating. They have enough professors and they are quite approachable as well. Personally the psychology is really amazing and all of them are well qualified. My fav is our basic psychology professor M.D. ma'am. I like the way she teaches and at the same time keeps the class interactive. Personally the course curriculum is quite relevant.
