Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The Curriculum of APJKTU is very prolific and each subject has a reason in the real world. Each subject as 5 modules and each module has a certain CO(Course Outcome) And PO(Program Outcome) Which validates the usefullness of the current module in the real world. These curriculum are good for the students to get an overall view of the branch they are in and also open up various opportunities and ideas relating their branch. The Three Internals are held each 2 or 3 weeks apart or may vary according to the semester timetable. All the exxams are 2hr each and the final semester exam is 3hr. There are a total of 6 theory subjects and 2 laboratory subjects. One has to pass all the subjects to move to the next semesterr without arrears

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There are no paid internship opportunities currently in the college. The stduents may have to work on themselves alone to hone skills for themselves externally to learn other materials which would be helpful for the students to work in many companies later on life. Other than paid internships, The College provides seminars and internship classes held by companies or working professionals etc.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements start from the 6th semester in our college and a student has to be free of arrears and have an average CGPA to qualify for the placement process. There is a placement officer in the college who co-ordinates and manages all the companies that come into the college and communicate with them to interact with certain students. Some of the prominent companies are cognizant , TCS , wipro ,Infosys etc. The students can get an average salary of maybe between 3-5LPA, These amounts can vary according to the students potential.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has a fee structure of 97000rs for all the branches who have availed for the btech degree on the year 2022.There are also government seats available to students but there is no fee wavering unless these government seat alloted students have a caste concession like sc/st/ews etc. These conditions apply for the hostel and mess as well. These are the most availed possibilities possible to a student studying in vimal jyothi engineering college.

Campus Life

3

Even though the education facilities are pretty good, There are no types of major festivals or inaugerations in the college.Only festivals or fest which are present are the Tech Fest , And the Arts And Sports Day which are not actually globalised or supported full fledgely by the college. There is a library which has all sorts of engineering study materials which can be helpful to the students for future purposes like projects , assignments etc. As i said before there are no sports engagement mostly in this college. There are no student run clubs as well. There are clubs like literacy club , music club etc which have students as union but they are all controlled by the teachers or management.

Admission

I Choose this college because this is a very trustworthy college because of previous connections with the members of the community in the college and also the teacherrs, other faculty members and the management are very supportive and trustworthy so it is more pleasible to accept this college over other college. Some of My Friends have also joined along my side due to the same prestige and good will of the college.I did not apply for other colleges since i was satisfied with this college and didnt want to move to any other college. The admission process was pretty simple as we did not have to worry about any of the problems in the office because they took care of us very calmly and nicely. We had to fill out some forms and pay an advance which was enough for the admission procedure, Later other updations were informed

Faculty

3

There are Many teaching professionals who teach the students about different subjects. Most of the faculties are very good and they take the classes very professionally. But there are also some teachers who are less experienced compared to other students who are less interactive in their classes but still it can be improved over time. There are a total of 3 internal/series examinations in a semester each with a total of 60 and they have to have a sum of total 75 out of all the three internals to qualify for the semester exam. Most students pass the exam and very few fail due to varying reasons.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
